BS5 Piano & Drum Teacher - Affordable Music Lesson Tuition in Bristol for All

My daughter started piano lessons a few months ago with Alex. She is really enjoying the variety if his lessons and especially likes learning songs she knows. Alex is patient and makes the lessons fun. Highly recommend him as a piano teacher.

My son (aged 8) has been attending piano lessons for a few months. I asked him what I should write for a review and he said he would recommend lessons 560 billion percent. When I asked why he said, 'that he is an excellent teacher who knows loads about music, listens to me and laughs at jokes'. As his mum I have also been super impressed at the quality of the teaching.

Alex is the most wonderful teacher. Incredibly kind and patient and engaging. My 6 year old daughter loves going to her piano lessons and has come on so far in just a few short weeks it’s been quite amazing to see. I can’t recommend highly enough!

My daughter is loving her piano lessons. It’s the perfect balance of being a challenge for her and learning something new, but she also has fun and can even be her silly 6 year old self. Alex is super patient, he finds songs she knows and follows what she’s interested in. You can tell he is a great musician and knows how to engage with her to help her learn. We will hopefully keep attending for a long time! We would definitely recommend!

Our son has loved Alex’s piano lessons from the very start. Alex makes it fun and directs the classes really well according to our sons ability. He also takes into account our sons musical interests which really helps with the learning. Every time we leave the lesson our son buoyant and enthused.

Alex kindly offered my 7 year old son a taster piano lesson and we are beginning weekly sessions in September. Alex was really calm and friendly and put my son at ease. He found out what kind of music he enjoyed so that he can weave this into lessons. He also had high expectations without overloading/ overwhelming and was very patient ( the best mix for a teacher!) which helped my son to keep trying and therefore learning! I liked Alex's approach to introduce theory, sight reading and some understanding about intervals from the start. We are hoping to mix a little bit of drumming tuition at the end of the sessions. Really looking forward to starting regular lessons after the school holidays!

We are seeing Alex for a few weeks now with my 9 and 6 yr old children. They like to come and play their music with him and learn something new every week. The lessons are great, I like the way Alex is teaching them on both piano and drums. Their progress are definitely recognizable, so I highly recommend him as a great music teacher.
