I've never eaten Ethiopian food before and hadn't done any research before trying this place. We walked in without a reservation and the place was pretty empty.The food was superb, I ordered the lamb and it was well cooked and tasted divine. It was a little spicy but worth it for the taste.

My three friends and I came for dinner last night. Really cosy chilled atmosphere. The guy who runs the place was very friendly and attentive. The food was very different to anything I'd ever tried, very tasty with a large variety as well. Definitely a great place to go with some friends to share some food with!

Superb hearty, nutritious food! Best value for money one can get; only £10 for a few different delicious Vegan stews and warm salads with the teff Injera bread (which is much pricier than wheat and rice).Kind and hospitable without requested service charge.

I tried the vegan options, very tasty food. First time trying Ethiopian food and loved it. Staff was super patient explaining everything to me… I went on to their recommendations and was not wrong, a mixture of mild, hot & sour flavors. In the end even the coffee was pretty good. Hidden gem to try something different.

Amazing food and really lovely service. We had the veggie platter for 2 and it was just chief's kiss. The coffee was great too!

Really amazing food with large portions and reasonable prices! We got the vegetarian platter and a lamb dish and both were so delicious and flavorful. The injera was fantastic, really light and fresh.

We went for a meal this evening and had a great experience. We ordered the following: YE TSESOM BEYAYNETU (a vegan platter with different veg dishes), AWAZE TIBES (lamb dish) & BOZENA SHIRO (beef dish). The food was very tasty. It was served with injera (flatbread) which is generously provided. We would definitely recommend this. The staff were lovely. They explained the menu and helped us with our choice. It is well worth a visit!

Me and my girlfriend came here, impromptu, and were so amazed with the food. We’ve never had Ethiopian food before and we were so pleasantly surprised and it was such a fun experience. The service was great and the waitress explained everything to us and was super patient.I secretly didn’t want to write this review because I want this place to be me and my girlfriends little spot, but more people deserve to know this place and the owners deserve it too!

We tried the vegan option together with a lamb dish. Everything tasted amazing.The texture of the bread is similar to a crepe and the taste is a bit sour that blended perfectly with the rest of flavors - however, it might not be for everyone.The owners are from Ethiopia so expect the authenic taste since they are the ones cooking. Also, they will make you feel very welcomed.Coffee is something to die for.

I’ve been to Yeshi multiple times, and their food never disappoints. I’ve had both their veggie platter and kitfo and it taste just like homemade food my mom would make. All their dishes are reasonably priced, which is a plus. Highly recommend this place!
