I don't normally write reviews but the owner requested us to do so if we had a good time. We felt the service, food and ambiance at this beautiful tearoom in Castle Combe warranted a write up. I visited today with a good friend of mine and we had a cream tea. Probably one of the best we've ever tasted. Anna, the owner also told us that you could hire the tearoom for a private party and she was a photographer and offered photo-shoot parties. We really enjoyed our visit and were made to feel so welcome. Well worth a visit . Will definitely come back again and recommend to friends.

What an amazing experience. The hall was beautifully decorated along with the table heaving under the absolutely delicate china ware. The savoury eats were just right, however, the scones, preserve and cream were the absolute highlight. Such a lovely place to celebrate a special occasion. I can highly recommend.

I went for my daughter’s wedding reception. It was beautifully decorated, the food was delicious and the service was excellent. Highly recommended.

Just wished to leave a review to thank the hostess so much for making our visit so worthwhile. As part of our visit we decided to treat ourselves to a lunch out. There was six of us and after a very scenic and pleasant walk in this beautiful area we descended upon her. Nothing was too much trouble and we we were so well looked after. Although we opted for toasted sandwiches and chips the food was displayed attractively and the tableware was so elegant. Everything tasted so appetising especially the homemade ginger cake. I just loved the decor felt i was dining in another era Thanks again and see you soon we hope.

We popped in today for a cream tea while visiting this lovely area. Great decision. Anna was a wonderful hostess, the scones and cakes were delicious and the Old Rectory was charming. So well worth a visit. A real treat. We will be back..

We went to a Baby Shower here. Nothing was too much trouble. The pies cakes and sausage rolls were all of a high standard. Loaction was lovely. Thank you for a wondetful day.

We celebrated our Wedding by having a small, intimate meal at The Old Rectory Pop Up Tearoom in Castle Combe.Anna was fantastic throughout the booking and on the day. She provided good communication and made the booking easy.On the day, it was easy to find and the parking was a great bonus in such a busy place. As we walked in, the whole room was beautifully decorated with the food laid out on the table looking wonderful! Anna was the perfect host as we arrived and ensured we had everything necessary, before leaving us to it. Everything from the background music to the food was perfect for our special day! We absolutely recommend the lovely tearoom, especially for special occasions.

Fabulous tearoom in the most beautiful village of Castle Coombe. I was recommended this place by a friend of mine who had visited a while ago. We booked for high tea for a group of six people as a treat for my mothers 60th birthday and we had a lovely afternoon. I have been to quite a few places for high tea and this was definitely one of my favourites. Everything was so fresh and plentiful with home made scones to die for.. The setting is just beautiful, so much character in one space. The lady who owns the tearoom Anna was lovely and really did go all out to make sure my mother had a fantastic afternoon. I would definitely recommend this place if you were to visit one of the prettiest villages in England.

I have been a couple of times and can only recommend it to every one wanting a first class experience. Anna, the host, is very warm and welcoming. Her tea is meticulously prepared and I have yet to manage to eat everything put in front of me! The place itself is beautifully presented and full of little quirky thing that she has lovingly collected over the years. If you want great afternoon tea, this is THE place to go!
