CAT S61 - less than 6 months old - has charging issue's. Against company policy to offer refund - customer services unable to confirm if the phone can be repaired. DO NOT BUY THE CAT PHONE - if it goes wrong - tough!

EDIT2:Finally got around to switching phones and I realized they sent me incorrect version (s42 instead of s42 H+), effectively jipping me out of ~$50 and the upgraded features. Dropping the rating back down. This company has been such a headache to work with customer service-wise. The phone itself is thick and durable (nifty extra button features), clear-screened but has sluggish responsiveness (even after software updates), fair battery life considering it takes about 12 hours to fully charge via micro USB. Feeling neutral about giving a recommendation but I personally likely won't give them my business again, because I see now that there's a risk if something goes wrong - the customer is seen as liable when, legally, Bullitt is and they're willing to lie and probably respond with an 'oops, sorry again, but nothing we can do about it.' And It's a shame because the concept of a durable smart phone is quite great.EDIT:The issue is being resolved. Adjusting rating to 4 stars.ORIGINAL REVIEW:5 stars for prompt shipment here in the US, but 1 star for customer service - again, prompt responses, but completely inadequate issue resolution.I have an on-going dispute with this company regarding a phone I purchased but never received, and have been unable to reach anyone other than Cat Support, who is the reason for the dropped rating. Posting this review with the hope someone other than Cat Support sees my Twitter message and responds with a better answer than sorry, your loss...

There is no technical support.NOT SUPPORT IN RUSSIA!!!Technically weak phones for big money.There is no firmware to restore the phone after a failed update.No alternative firmware.I'm sad..Phone CAT S30 (2 device)Phone CAT S60 (1 device)

I agree totally with Bill Palmer.I ordered a phone based on the specifications. But after 48hrs realised that battery life was nowhere as good as billed so I returned it. I followed the return instructions to the letter. Then I get an email from the supplier telling me to send the return to an alternative address. This a further 36hrs after I had dispatched it. Track and trace shows the distributor declined to accept delivery on 2 attempts. No response from Bullitt Group to either emails or phone messages. Customer service is non existent and the product I oredered, in my experience, was not that good. As they say buyer beware! Steer well clear!Since posting my original message I was contacted by Bullitt Group who appointed a customer service agent to assist me. While I am not sure what conversations were had behind the scenes the matter was resolved to my satisfaction.Would I consider buying from Bullitt in the future? Yes!

Now! Mark My Words here you lot: I treat my phone as an object. My phone takes what I give it! I give it a LOT more than what I would expect it to take! I have owned a CAT S62 Pro now for over 2 years and my goodness can this thing take what I give it? = YES. I am in the steel industry, I weld, cut steel, work outside in pouring rain and the hot sun. I give it to my kids on the weekend and they can swim underwater with it to make videos, I've left it on top of my car before in a petrol station and driven off and its fallen into the road to be driven over several times, I've accidentally dropped it in a can of Xylene based paint, I've even accidentally dropped it down the toilet in a pub while a little inebriated! The only thing which has caused it a bit of harm is molten steel dripping onto the screen. Has it died? NO! This phone is - BY FAR - the best tough phone you can buy - MARK MY WORDS! . . . . I had a Sonim - it died! I've taken this thing out of my overalls and steel fragments have been sticking out of the speaker! Just brush off and laugh as this phone is engineered for those who need a phone engineered to do what it says on the tin! Bullitt Group and CAT - Keep doing what you do! Looking forward to your next piece of mastery.

We use the Cat s60. very rugged. We'll see if it survived the science experiments. No problems so far.After more than 2 years I want to say this is the very best mobile I have ever had ever. It has withstood everything, from being run over with a real CAT to concrete blocks falling on it. Nothing stops this machine. Now that there are some signs of wear (what do you expect?) it will soon be time to move on to the S61, but this thing needs to die first. I might have to wait some time. Even the weekly drops onto concrete are nothing to it.

It's bad enough that the product - the Kodak Ektra smartphone - is an overpriced triumph of pastiche over progress but my real issue is that the company just will not refund. I rejected the Ektra within 24 hours; it is a sub-par product that is effectively useless to photographers - and tried to find out their returns process. It's not on their website and you have to contact their customer services" - who do not respond at all to web form queries. After three days I phoned. They organised a pickup by DHL - after a further chase - and since then I have waited - and waited - and chased - and chased. At time of writing they are days past the legal limit for refunds - and still nothing. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company - but I should not have had to do so. Shoddy treatment. Avoid at all costs."

CAT S60 - software support and development stuck with android 6.0.1, GPS crashes all the time, bad reception, battery doesn't last a day (without GPS on), speaker mesh fell. And the top of that gets warm.
