Recently I took my wife and 2 teenagers to learn to Wakesurf on Tony’s brand new Nautique boat. We had 2 hour lessons each day over the weekend. Tony was great. Friendly, informal and very welcoming. It was also good to meet Ed. The lessons were relaxed, and enhanced sooo much by the use of their 2 way radio headsets – nobody needed to shout! Tony gave great instructions in a calm manner, without swamping us with information. The lessons were a success, and we all got that all important photo of us up there surfing without the rope ;o) We thoroughly recommend these guys.

A highly recommended wakesurfing company! I have previously wakesurfed in Dubai, but I was so grateful to wakesurf again in the Lake District with my boyfriend. Marcus went above and beyond and ensured that we had the right technique when wakesurfing, especially as it was my boyfriend’s first time.

Windermere WakesurfingI contacted Windermere Wakesurfing to arrange an exclusive and private two-person cruise around the lake on a Saturday afternoon, after discovering that despite the Wakesurfing focus they offered private cruises too, and so I booked online and then contacted them to make sure that it was all okay and that they were okay with me booking an 8 seater boat for just 2 people.It was Kayleigh who replied to me, and she was so accommodating and friendly. However when I told her that I was planning to propose to my girlfriend on the boat, she went out of her way to make sure it was done perfectly. Firstly she suggested that instead of the super modern G23 boat, we take the hand-built Italian 1960’s Riva classic speedboat, and she offered to get some champagne for me beforehand and hide it on the boat. On top of that she offered to come along on the day to take photos and film the moment.Ed who drove the boat for us was equally friendly, and also very informative about the lake, the buildings around it, and the impact of the weather upon the islands dotted throughout it.The weather was stunning, the lake was beautiful, the boat was sensational, and Ed and Kayleigh were a pleasure to take the trip with.Afterwards, knowing that we had no transport arranged, Kayleigh offered us a lift back to our hotel, which saved us about a 45 minute walk.In short, I am eternally grateful and somewhat overwhelmed by the friendliness, and helpfulness that these guys showed me and my fiancé. I will always treasure the moment that me and my partner were able to share because of these guys, and I am incredibly thankful that I found them when I did.Engagements aside – if you are wanting a boat cruise, and want to avoid the hell that is the tourist trap of the boats in Bowness, and you don’t mind paying a little more for that exclusivity (it’s worth every penny), then you can’t do much better than booking with these guys. The boats are top notch, and the service is superb, and it’s a sheer joy to sit back and chill, taking in the lake.In addition, if you want to try your hand at wakesurfing, then I’d imagine you can’t do much better! I will certainly be back to try my luck with it!Thanks again Kayleigh & Ed. I hope to meet again someday!

Lovely experience today at Windermere Wakesurfing. Went in nervous but came out confident and raring to give surfing another go!Huge thanks to Ed for making me feel comfortable in the water and giving my friends and I some very valuable advice about water sports!

Absolutely fantastic day for all 8 of us, really fun, and a very patient instructor. Even ordered some beers in for us. Would recommend in a heartbeat :)

I'm a beginner and this is the best coaching I've had! Ed was super friendly and gave tons of helpful advice. Also they offer you an earset, so you can hear the guidance/talk even while you're riding, which makes the coaching much more efficient. Really enjoyed the session.The marina is close to 599 bus stop, so definitely recommend having a quick session on your way to/from Windermere.
