Ever since The Essence moved to new premises I have been desperate to try out the brand new spa. I finally managed to book in at the weekend and included two treatments: Aromatherapy Massage and Express Facial. The spa was fantastic, everything is brand new and absolutely spotless! A big thank you to Florina for my massage and facial - both treatments were amazing and exactly what I needed! Perfect way to spend a morning or afternoon and we are already planning our next visit!

I had received a voucher as a gift & as my back was playing up made appointment with Oksana, the salon is very clean and beautiful lay out, very calming upstairs. I had a lovely relaxing massage from Oksana, will definitely return.

My friends & I went to the newly renovated salon and would recommend to anyone wanting an affordable relaxing pamper day!We went for the £45 package deal PP advertised on their website which provided two 25 minute treatments and use of spa facilities for 90 minutes, including a sauna, steam room, jacuzzi & relaxation room.The staff were so professional and pleasant and this is the first salon I've been to that has facilities, as well as treatments. They also provided water, herbal tea, coffees and biscuits in the facilities which I thought was a lovely touch.Overall amazing experience and would definitely be back!

Got eyelashes done day before going on holiday. From the start had problems. My eyes nipped and streamed from the beginning. Couldn't wear any makeup or eyeliner as my eyes kept running. After 3 days of hell my friend who I was staying with abroad, managed to contact their beautician who told me to come in and see her. She had the proper remover to take the lashes off. Godsend. She told me that there was too much glue applied and that caused the irritation.Enjoyed the rest of my holiday lash free.

Appauling customer service didn't get my reminder confirmation of my waxing appointment I made in May ! Wondered why I hadn't this morning and behold there is no appointment for me and I leave to go on holiday tomorrow ! Asked why I had phoned this morning also . Well I phoned because a little thought went through my head this had happened and I was right ! Asked if I had my confirmation yes of course I do wish I could add it here for public viewing but expect it over in the mail in 5 minutes . Majorly let down as now I need to run about to try to get another appointment for my waxing before I go on holiday tomorrow . Booked in May to avoid this fiasco and was organisedNot apologised to once , nup

I have been going to Essence for a number of years now, had many different things done. Recently Rosalind has moved premises and the new establishment is fab-u-lus. My friend and I have had a few Spa days with treatments and massages Caitlin and Florina come highly recommended. I have just had the hot stone massage done by Kate and it was fantastic. It’s deep muscle massage with heat penetration. I was pain free for a few days and I’m booked in to go again soon. Highly recommend for all your beauty and therapy needs. Love the place, the staff, the ambience and the local.
