I wanted to restore an old Family Bible, dated 1912, found recently in our loft. It had a detached front cover, as well as some red rot. As a result of a Google search, I approached Linda Orriss of Orriss Bookbinders to see what could be done. Linda agreed to do what she could, and when she contacted me to say it was ready some 6 weeks later, as agreed, I was so thrilled with her work, and the Bible can now sit proudly on display on a bookshelf. She also gave some knowledgeable advice on how to prevent the red rot from spreading as it cannot be eradicated. All in all, a fabulous job by someone who obviously loves books, and loves what she does.

A set of three books that belonged to my great grandfather have been beautifully restored. At 116 years old, the books were looking their age with one of them in particular in a very poor state. The restoration work is fantastic and they look amazing. I’m absolutely delighted with them. Thank you so much.
