White Heather Hotel is a friendly guest house. Our hostess made us very welcome. The room was spacious and beautifully furnished with a large TV and the best bed ever, so comfortable. The en suite bathroom was also spacious and the complimentary toiletries were lovely.Apart from the bed, the best thing about our room was the view from the window. It was fascinating to watch fishing boats come and go in the ever-changing light.The breakfasts were excellent.

Lovely rooms, very clean and comfortable. Gillian is lovely too, very friendly and informative. Breakfast was amazing! Seen a few bad reviews and can only put that down to some people are never happy!! Excellent base for exploring Skye. Views over the harbour and hills. Highly recommend if your planning to visit Skye.

Everything was lovely. The rooms were tidy and clean, the breakfast was delicious, Gillian is a very friendly and welcoming hostess and overall we had a great experience. We definitely want to come back!

Pretty decent wee place, room was very clean as was the bathroom and sanitary wear. Bed was super comfy. Scottish cooked breakfast was good including toast with real butter, freshly squeezed orange juice, tea/coffee etc.Owners were friendly and helpful, room cost 100 quid. Minor issue.. our front facing tilt and turn window looked pretty shabby with the silicone seal detached, older, thicker council style extrusions and the trickle vent didn't function properly allowing the wind to blow into the room. Enjoyable stay and would recommend for sure..

Guest rooms like in a good hotel. A personal welcome like in a B&B. A fantastic combination!Outstanding hospitality by the owner, who was welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. Building looks unassuming from the outside, but the room was of an exceptional quality, both the bedroom and the bathroom - better than most hotels. Fantastic hot breakfast. Great view of tranquil Kyleakin harbour from the breakfast room. Easily earns my recommendation, especially for couples travelling.The downsides are minor in my view. There aren't too many restaurants and shops within walking distance. In line with other hotels and guesthouses on Skye, room rates can be relatively high during the summer season (but well worth it in my opinion).

Best location, excellent host, nice English breakfast. 2 lounges with board games, giant soft toys, and books available to chill. Beautiful surroundings with a pub nearby and view of the Isle of Skye bridge. Photos of views just outside the hotel are added to this review.
