Newcastle Greyhound Stadium

Never been to the dog racing before . Friendly staff and venue well taken care of . Decor and facilities are quite dated . Food was poor , cold cheap hot dogs and under cooked chips in a watery curry sauce . The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the grounds were tidy . Lacking in atmosphere but I have nothing to compare it to , music may have been a nice option to have in the background . Lots of stag parties but not too rowdy and still family friendly .Bar well stocked prices high but understandable as that's one of the only areas apart from betting that the venue can make money on .The races aren't for me so maybe that clouded my view .

Canny night tho bit quiet but was good, got served at the bar ok.

The food options on Tuesday night are a bit limited (not much more than chips and sausage) but the beer's good and the staff are super nice.

It was a quiet Tuesday evening but still had great fun. Cheap food available. You can stay inside to watch and place bets too.

Went there on a stag do as a large group, it was freezing, so we alternated between inside and out, bar was slightly more expensive than the average pub but not bad, plastic glasses if you want to take a drink outside, snackbar for very basic food, burger and chips about £5 betting very easy inside or out, not a bad trip out

Not overly busy but still fun....food was good as was the service, staff always on hand

Great day out watching the dogs for a stag do. Staff were friendly and beers was ok.
