Had a weeks courses with Ian Maxwell and within that week got me up to test standards to do my full bike license can’t fault the training at all got it down to a T very helpful and understanding would recommend to anyone thanks again Ian kind regards jack

Highly recommend!! Excell Motorcycle Training cares about the safety of motorcyclists, they are ridged with their training no short cuts are taken. Id never ridden a bike before and had no confidence when I started. Ian is a patient and calm man that will adapt his teaching style to suit the student. He doesn’t get frustrated or annoyed if you don't learn quickly.I now have my license but also the confidence to be on the road on my own thanks to Ian.

After some other bad experiences with motorcycle trainers I ended up calling Ian and training with him at Excel. The training was everything I could have asked for, he was extremely helpful and answered all of my novice questions without making me feel silly. I would highly recommend Excel to any new beginner riders looking to pass their test quickly and efficiently, I feel I've left the week with good skills, knowledge and foundations to build upon. I couldn't have asked for any better.

Ian is an excellent instructor. Tailors his tuition to what is needed. Very friendly and knows where all the best sausage sandwiches are located. I would recommend him to anyone!

Before training with Excel I’d already failed my Mod2 a couple of times. Luckily Excel had a cancelation and managed to fit me in very quickly. After 5 hours of training they’d ironed out my my troubles and I passed with three minors. It’s difficult to know good from bad instructors until you get a good one. Thank you Excel!

I have spent around 6 days with both Ian and Barry, learning how to ride from scratch. I couldn’t recommend them enough, they both know exactly what they’re talking about and their love for riding is clear in their work! If you are even considering learning to ride I wouldn’t look anywhere else for instructors

Went in with 5 years of bad habits on L plates and low low confidence...Ian reassured me throughout and helped me work the bad habits out!! I couldn't recommend him and Excel enough. I passed mod1 and mod2 within a day of eachother 1st time. Would not of been possible without Ians knowledge and training. Absolute diamond of a human. Thank you.
