Gio worked an absolute miracle on my wedding dress. I wanted to wear my mum's dress, but it was far too small and quite 80s! She brought it up to date while keeping the spirit of the dress. I still don't understand how she made it fit, but it was perfect. I can't recommend her enough!

We cannot recommend Gio enough, she is absolutely incredible at what she does and simply the kindest person you will meet!We went to Gio’s with a dress we had purchased early on in our wedding planning journey and over time came to realise that whilst the dress had elements that we liked, it wasn’t something that I felt comfortable in or felt like ‘me’.Coming across Gio was by complete chance and we thought that we would be told another ‘no we can’t alter it that much’ or there is ‘not enough time’. From the outset Gio was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble and more importantly, the confidence that she instilled in us that everything we were wishing for with the dress could come true. She listened to what I had imagined and then designed and made it beautifully. Gio did an amazing job restoring a 1950s dress to its former glory! It needed quite a lot of cleaning and a few repairs and it looks beautiful again. Now I just need an excuse to wear it so I can get some proper photos to share! Would definitely recommend trusting Gio with important alterations - e.g. vintage or wedding dresses. She will look after your dress or item of clothing with such care.
