Ok, where to begin with dishing out the praise for this company… well, let’s just start by saying that it’s extremely rare to find this level of workmanship and professionalism in the UK - It makes SUCH a difference. To leave the compliments there would be doing this gem of a business a disservice, and so I’ll continue... Automotive bodywork is never cheap, but L A Body Repairs offered a much more reasonable quote than you would expect to receive from a truly professional competing body shop, and whilst it may be that if you look very hard for a body shop that MIGHT offer to do the job for less, you would likely find that corners would be cut and the result would never be as good as the original paint job. With L A Body Repairs, no corners are cut. Every part of the job is done properly, and that is worth its weight in gold to me! In my view, this place is worth every penny. In addition to the large amount of prep work, painting and finishing involved with your typical car body repair, the car bodywork is cleaned all over, which again, is a level of service you would expect to see from a much bigger commercial premises charging a much greater rate. Setting aside the job itself for a moment, which was exemplary work, I now turn my attention to the team. Everyone at reception was courteous, friendly and professional, and then of course there’s Jamie who oversees the whole job from when the job is initially assessed to when you are beaming with an ear to ear smile when you first see your car looking great again. Jamie was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. He knows his stuff and is keen to do the job properly in order to get your car back to its former glory. He’s friendly, cheerful and on top of that he clearly has good humour too. He was never patronising or judgemental at any point in my dealings with him (you’d be amazed at how often people providing customer service are that way.) As I say, the combination of all the above provided by this business is very rare these days it would seem. The level of personal professionalism puts the finishing touch onto a job already very well done. If you care about your vehicle, take it to the team at L A Body Repairs - you won’t be disappointed!

Recommended by Croft garage. Visited for quote for scrape on door. The chaps at the garage straight away said it could be sorted and buffed out the scrape and did the work immediately. Super impressed with the service, honesty and only charged me £20 for the work. Definitely recommend this garage and independent local business, first class service.

Great experience here and I will definitely be back. I asked for a quote to repair a significant scratch on my Volvo V60. Jamie was able to repair it right there and then and now it looks perfect. He also seems like a very nice and geniune guy. This is now my go-to garage for body work. Thank you Jamie!

My wife's car had minor damage to right rear corner. We have had the car 17 years from new, and it is my wife's 'baby'. so we were very upset and worried about the repair. We didnt need to be! Jamie was very friendly helpful and professional on arrival, and the work was carried out on time and to an amazing standard. I say 'amazing' because I am very very fussy about the presentation of all my cars, and on the vehicle return I cannot find any evidence of the repair. So 'amazing' it is. I got in touch with Lee a few months ago to discuss getting an old road bike resprayed - from the off, Lee was top notch. He gave me a break down of all the work he could do and his availability, and we agreed to get it booked in alongside a local bike shop that would do the mechanical work. It was all very straightforward and easy, and the end result was phenomenal - the care and attention Lee paid to the bike, which had a lot of sentimental value, was first class - the quality of the work was just unbelievable, and I wouldn’t hesitate recommending him if you’re thinking of something similar.

These guys have just completed a full bodywork correction and respray on my much cherished Jaguar XK8 (a big deal for me) and I can say without any doubt whatsoever the whole process from start to finish was carried out in the most friendly, stress free, professional manner and to the highest quality of work I could have ever expected. They don’t just apply production line in and out mentality like your usual run of the mill dross, these guys took personal ownership of my vehicle and went far and beyond the extra mile in order to give me the best service and quality finish. My jaguar is now a perfect blemish free example and that’s down to these guys. They deserve your business and they deserve continued success. I really can’t recommend or thank them enough.
