The School of Taxidermy

I learned everything I know about taxidermy from Suzette and since then have created some brilliant pieces.Before being taught by Suzette, I was doing off jobs on youtube, but was never happy with the result... AlunaGeorge's hit song Attracting Flies" comes to mind when I think back to those premature unguided attempts...But thanks to Suzette I have got my skinning and cleaning time down to 50 MINUTES! So thankful Suzette is a sweet and traditional teacher

Had a fantastic day with a lovely group of people. The studio was perfect and the teacher was patient and very good at breaking down the stages of the work to make it possible even for a complete beginner. You really are involved with every stage of the process and encouraged to do as much as you can yourself, so you can feel very proud of what you've achieved by the end of the class. It was a great atmosphere with lovely people and the food was delicious. The location is very easy to get to as well, so perfect all round. Highly recommended experience!

A most enjoyable day, at the small animal taxidermy. Suzette’s instruction was very clear, and she was very happy to help. This was particularly useful for me as I found several of the steps difficult, as I have large hands and was taxidermizing a mouse. I found the day to be a delight with a wonderful lunch too?

A fabulous day. Small class size meant everyone got all the help they needed. I was delighted by how well my piece turned out and everyone else seemed pleased with their results. I was apprehensive at first but Suzette put me at ease. Her instructions were clear and she happily stepped in when someone was struggling. It was a surprisingly sociable event in spite of being strangers at the start. Lunch was delicious too!

My daughter attended a class for her 13th birthday and she had a wonderful day. Suzette and Eliot were very attentive to her and by the end of the day she had an elegant rat to take home. The atmosphere at the class was great and I would definitely recommend this class.

Amazing hands on immersive experience into the world of taxidermy. Suzette is a great teacher and leads a highly organized class tailored to your specific skill level and animal of choice. My wife and I signed up for this class in advance for our trip to London, and we were not disappointed! It was a great experience overall. She offers a wide variety of animal options at reasonable prices for both the experience and the taxidermy keepsake. Prior to this class, we had never attempted or even observed taxidermy before, but are collectors of both taxidermy and oddities. We are so thankful that Suzette offered this opportunity because we now have a strong appreciation for the work and detail that goes into the art of taxidermy. She even offered to ship the final pieces back to US. They arrived safely and now our two moles are part of our collection. Thank you! Highly recommended!

This was a really great class especially for a beginner. Initially the wide range of animals available really caught my attention - a lot of places only so mice etc - I did a Stoat at this one and I love it. Suzette was patient but also helped when needed. She was lovely and the studio was really nice too. Just felt like a lovely homely place so sit and learn a new skill. The finished product was much better than I expected and I'm really impressed! Lunch was amazing too! Thank you!

I had a fantastic day making a taxidermied mouse. I was a complete beginner, really nervous. Eliot made me feel calm, capable and was so patient with everyone. He was able to advise and assist of us despite us all working on different creatures.I took a tiny skull prop for my mouse to be holding and he was able to help place and secure it so we’ll.absolutely brilliant day; I’ll be back, thanks Eliot!

Given as a gift from my partner. Thoroughly enjoyed the class it was interactive and fun and came away with the coolest memento ever! Will definitely book again.
