Cardiff Central Railway Station (South Entrance)
Located in the heart of the Welsh capital, Cardiff Central Railway Station is a bustling transport hub that serves as a gateway to the city and its surrounding areas. As one of the busiest stations in Wales, it offers a range of amenities and services to meet the needs of both local commuters and visitors alike. One of the standout features of Cardiff Central Railway Station is its historic architecture. The station was originally built in the 1850s and has been renovated and modernized over the years while still retaining its Victorian charm. The station's high ceilings and ornate details are a sight to behold, and make for a truly unique travel experience. In terms of facilities, the station offers a range of amenities to make your journey as comfortable as possible. There are plenty of seating areas, as well as shops, cafes, and restaurants where you can grab a bite to eat or a coffee. There are also clean and well-maintained restrooms and baby changing facilities available. In terms of transportation, Cardiff Central Railway Station is well-connected to a range of destinations both within Wales and beyond. There are regular trains to major cities such as London, Bristol, and Birmingham, as well as to other parts of Wales such as Swansea and Newport. There are also local trains and buses that connect to the wider Cardiff area.Overall, Cardiff Central Railway Station is a fantastic transport hub that offers a blend of historic charm and modern amenities. Whether you're a local commuter or a visitor to the city, you're sure to have a pleasant and convenient travel experience at this impressive station

We were lucky enough to meet a fantastic fellow in the ticket office who got us massively discounted tickets for immediate rush hour travel. He also printed out travel itinerarys with various options whilst we waited.I wish I had noted his name so I could put it up in lights!

Makes traveling from London easy and comfortable as well as affordable. As someone who lives in the United States, I appreciate the opportunity to travel by rail versus an automobile. It just isn’t as accessible as in the UK, especially in rural areas. Public transportation is only prevalent in populated areas and not the rest of the country. You’re lucky in the UK . That being said, Cardiff Central Railway station is smack dab in the middle of Cardiff and is very convenient. Our hotel was only about a 10 to 15 minute walk from the station!

This is a place in a constant and worrying state of flux. On one side there is a never-ending building site, with all the disruptions and impermanence this entails; on the other, the car park is almost continuously being carved with relish by temporary fencing and barriers, confidently manhandled by a pool of Hi-Vis-clad, slightly dysmorphic stewarts, who take visible pleasure in obfuscating motorists trying to park. However, the station itself and its workings are alright, once you manage to penetrate.

I have no idea of using a train in purchasing tickets, which platform or train times. The staff were very helpful and I had a safe journey which was easy thanks to the staff.

What another mess at another rugby international. Masses of queues everywhere and no updates. We were in a queue to go back to Gloucester over an hour and 45 minutes. With 400 + people in front out us & about 250 people behind us. Nobody could update us on what was going on. A train came in with three carriages and they packed them in like sardines (There had to be a health and safety issue there) Then twenty five minutes later, they told the rest of us we were getting on coaches! You think that they would have this under control with the amount of concerts and rugby games at cardiff.

Very good disabled parking and access. Quite busy when I was there. Staff were very helpful. There were spaces in the 20 minutes waiting bays, which are free, so handy for picking up and putting down.
