Yorkshire Aero Club - Sandtoft Airfield

I had my 3rd trial flight in a year today and oh boy. James my Instructor suggested a nearby grass strip Breighton to land at which I did! He took off from there as I made a video. I took control again back to Sandtoft where we did 4 touch and go landings from the left hand pattern and a final full stop landing. Incredible experience yet again. Had been surprised with a 30 minute introductory lesson. Arrived there today 10/10/22, was greeted with 2 friendly staff members one of which was Will who was doing my lesson. He was very professional and nice to speak to. During my lesson he was friendly and made me feel at ease when in control of the aircraft. Would highly recommend! He also gave information as to where we was when flying over or passing areas of Doncaster. Even planned a route to fly over my house which was amazing to see from the sky. Highly recommend doing a flying lesson. Thank you

Best place to get your training done.All instructors know their stuff and will teach you exactly what you need to know without messing you around.HoT Daniel Harris is the one of the best instructor/examiners you'll find on the scene. He's quick with communication, insane with teaching and will get your training done asap. If i was to do my flight training again, he would be the first person i'd ring up.They're all super relaxed there. Nobody with an ego.They have on site maintenance and their aircrafts are well maintained.

Great Aero Club! Really helpful and friendly staff/instructors. Completed my Night Rating in 2 evenings with them. Can't thank them enough!

Absolutely fantastic , what an amazing place , James is absolutely fantastic, so welcoming and nice , amazing instructor who made us feel so safe ,my 11 year old son had an amazing time , it was our first time up and my 11 year old son is now completely convinced that this is what he wants to do , he just wanted to go straight back up ,thank you so much , we'll see you again soon , thank you

Great little airfield, fantastic school!

I recently booked my husband a flying lesson for our anniversary, highly recommended! The whole process was so smooth from beginning to end, my husband had an amazing experience, loved it. Thank you McKenzie, Charlie and Will who was the pilot, would love to come back!

Great, easy-going club/school, good base for self fly hire. Well equipped aircraft (glass cockpit etc).
