Boxted Bridge
Boxted Bridge is a very narrow steel girder & plate bridge crossing over the River Box at a scenic Y-junction on the border of rural Suffolk/Essex. Certainly a beautiful spot to admire the view, but the existing ironbridge is too narrow to even provide a safe pavement for walkers & sightseers. The Local Authority plans to replace the existing structure with a wider, pre-formed module & controversially closed the entire road in June 2023

ECC Highways spending £1 million on new Boxted bridge but cannot afford to maintain potholes or is that craters in most Essex Roads..!! Seems like a Boris and his party situation to me.
