Back in 2019, I was lucky to be invited to join a cohort of like-minded, local business owners to participate in Sandler Foundations training. Having started my business in 2018, and having never had any form of sales training due to the nature of my profession and expertise, I was grateful for meeting Roy Johnson (and MDH, of course) who wanted to support me through my business journey by imparting their sales and leadership expertise on me to help me become a successful business person as well as HR expert.I use Sandler Foundations in my working life to help me shape business decisions and ensure I am continually evolving my sales pipeline for the good of my business profitability. Without Sandler Foundations, I believe I wouldn’t be as far ahead with my business as I am now. And even though I have completed Sandler Foundations, Roy has not stopped supporting me and being available at the end of the phone over the last 18 months or so.I am grateful for knowing a local sales and leadership trainer whocontinues to be kind enough and willing enough to make sure I can do great things as a HR consultant in Staffordshire.Thank you Roy (and MDH ;D )

Roy Johnson introduced me to Sandler earlier this year, and after taking their Foundations training I began integrating the Sandler system and principles into my daily business practices. The result has been quite simply a transformation in my productivity.As a Solar design and installation business, our previous approach was to provide unlimited free expertise and advice, send out quotes to everyone and anyone, and follow up on those quotes, only to find later that people who enquired with us either wouldn’t take our calls, or had ordered poorer solutions elsewhere, or were still “thinking about it” 6 weeks, 6 months, or 6 years later. Yes, some people would order from us, but we also wasted vast amounts of time building up a huge quotation pipeline of almost entirely uncloseable business.The Sandler system encourages you to seek the truth, not the sale. It trains you to identify quickly when an enquirer doesn’t have a problem painful enough to be worth solving, or doesn’t have the budget to do so, or won’t be able to give you a decision. By finding out early who isn’t ready, willing, or able to place an order with you, you can make sure your prospects don’t waste time going down any blind alleys, and make sure your time doesn’t get wasted going with them.The breakthrough for me was when I learned to make appointments the Sandler way. This has transformed my productivity and, combined with the other Sandler principles, has doubled my turnover. Today, we make fewer appointments, but the conversion rate from appointments to orders is now over 80%.Anyone who brings new customers into their business owes it to themselves to look at the Sandler method and use it to save time and transform their productivity. I can highly recommend Roy and his colleague Matthew of Sandler for their outstanding training and coaching services.

I attended a Sandler sales masterlcass following an event held by the local chamber of commerce.Roy delivers a very clear and structured way of of putting in place a structured sales method. As a busy video and animation company, we never thought we'd have time or the need for something such as sales training, I mean, video is meant to sell itself, right? The Sandler Training workshops that Roy Johnson runs are among the best I've come across. Roy is extremely knowledgable in sales and has a very approachable and accessible method of teaching. Not being a natural salesman was completely suited to my personality type and while still challenging the skills learnt have made a massive difference to how I look at sales. I have recently completed the Sandler foundation course with Roy Johnson. Having been subject to numerous sales training courses over the years, all with very little variation, and nothing new or engaging, I was to be honest sceptical about what I would learn, and what I could possibly learn that I didn’t already know! However, after 10 weeks of training with Roy, I am very pleased to say that the Sandler system is not only fresh and engaging, but has taught me more than I imagined it would. The Sandler Sales system clearly sets us apart from our competition and gives a robust system to utilise and follow to ensure guaranteed success! I am already starting to see the difference in the way I engage with prospects and clients, feel more in control of the sales process and are able to gain a greater commitment from potential clients.
