Hendre Lake Park
The lake itself is beautiful and nice to see lots of people on walks around the area, it's got much busier over the past few years. Its a bit frustrating not being able to complete a full lap of the lake at the moment due to the bridge being closed. No sign of when it's due to be fixed or reopened so you kind of have to walk 3/4 of the way and then turn back on yourself. Lots of over grown areas at the moment and doesn't seem to be kept well. Lots of glass in the car park so beware when parking. Parking is free which is always a plus.

Hendre Lake Park
This lake is a great hidden gem. There are plenty of walks available in this area, including a circular walk around the lake itself (although you can't currently make a full circle as part of the path is closed).The lake is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including swans, ducks, geese and a variety of other waterfowl.The lake is very popular with fishers during fishing season and popular with dog walkers throughout the year.

Hendre Lake Park
Bridge has been shut for 2-3 years now and Council have not repaired meaning you cannot walk around the lake. Popular with dog walkers and people fishing. Quite a lot of litter. Free parking. Lots of blackberries if you go at right time of year.

Awesome lake and park, but the bridge on the southside is closed. Swans nest here, and lots of people fish in the lake.

Hendre Lake Park
My husband comes to run here often so he brought me on a walk recently. You can park in the free car park. We came on a week night and it was nice and quiet. Plenty of people were walking their dogs. I use a wheelchair and was able to go around the lake easily. If you enjoy a quiet walk in nature, then this is a great place to visit. We picked some blackberries while we were there. There is a huge amount of them.

Lovely park with large large. Easy flat paths for walking and bench’s all the way round. There are swans, geese, ducks and all sort of other birds. There is a heron aswell that you can sometimes spot if he is not being shy! I’ve added some photos of him! Fishing in the summer. Shame the bridge is requiring repair atm so can’t walk all the way around the lake but I believe it is being fixed.

Great place to walk and socialise the dogs. I've edited my review after having my car window smashed while parked in the car park. There was nothing to steal in the car, so it was done just for vandalism. There were lots of dodgy characters coming and going while we were trying to clean the car so it could be driven. Shame at we used to love taking the dogs there for a stroll

Hendre Lake Park
Great place for a walk. Only downside is that upon visiting in May 2023, we could not walk all the way around the lake. Part of it is blocked off at the moment. It's a great place to walk the dog or just get some peace and quiet.
