The Barn
It is a nice place, with different activities in different sections. The outdoor area looks like great fun on a good day. My kid loved it there. The only issue is the overall cleanliness. It needs a deep scrub. Even so, the fun is priceless so we will be going back soon.

My nephew was so bored we didn't stay long. The building was falling apart, filthy and in desperate need of, at least a lick of paint if not a refurbishment. The building was freezing and the sand area was so thin, so much so that if he fell he would seriously hurt himself. There was one woman working the entrance, the cafe and clearing tables, obviously doing her best dispite the work load. The coffee leaved much to be desired and for the price of the food it didn't seem worth it for the, obviously microwaved meals they were bringing out. We will not be returning.

Lots for children to do and a nice big cafe area. You can see the whole place from the tables and it is very safe, clean and secure. They have little activities on throughout the week and the meal deal is really good value for money.

The Barn
Have tried quite a few soft plays for children up to 3 years of age and have to say, the barn is my top favourite! It’s spacious and has a lot of room for kids to run around and toys to play with. My little boy loves it too and likes to always say hello to chickens and goats on the way in :D

The Barn
Excellent play facility for under 5's. Lots of different play areas for young children and a baby section as well. The food is also good value. Indoor area and outdoor area, with a few farm animals to see. Excellent value as well at only £4 for child over 18 months (cheaper under that age). I believe they also do pre and after school care for school age children. One staff member could be a little friendlier and helpful, hence one star lost, but otherwise, really good. We will be back. Couldn't take too many pics as didn't want to post pics of other people's children.

This is a great little place to bring your kids to see farm animals. There is quite a variety of animals. It has a very good; though small, farm shop, where you can buy out of the ordinary meats like crocodile, or kangaroo, but beware these aren't cheap. It has an excellent selection of preserves and pies all locally made. I have been three times to this place.

The Barn
Lots of different areas to play in, good quality toys and trampolines and a full bouncy castle to wear out the bigger ones. Amazing cakes, ok coffee. There's a petting zoo type set up as well, which is nice. Definitely a good place to take your young children

Good place to go on a sunny day. It's basically a farm once. There's food and drink. Parking is ok.

The Barn
We arrived on a hot and humid day, the weather was perfect. The 'petting area' was more of an enclosure where you could just look at the animals and was surrounded by nettles. The animal habitats were well maintained but clearly the path, and viewing areas had been neglected. Unfortunately my daughter, trying to get a better view of the animals got stung by one of the huge nettle bushes. The value for money for the children was spot on £6 for the play barn + a meal deal. Which consisted of something from the children's menu, and a cup of pre-made squash from a container. The only difference I would personally make to this, would be to include some sort of pudding or after dinner snack in the price. The upkeep of the overall place has been neglected, and as such there are huge gaping spider webs hanging all over the place, Christmas decorations still up covered in cob webs, also a dust/dirt covered canopy hovering over the food area. The cutlery was not clean, still had remnants of food stuck to it.The price for food for adults, in my opinion was over priced and not value for money. The bread was hard on one side, in line with being frozen then defrosted. The staff were very friendly, and kept asking if everything was okay for us. I like to visit a place first and get a feel before I feel comfortable complaining.About an hour after we arrived, the weather turned into a thunderstorm and downpour. All the outdoor equipment was brought in, and the fire door (which didn't seem to work properly) was shut and locked. The staff rushed around quickly dishing out bowls to collect water from the leaking roof. The table next to us had 2 bowls on the seats collecting a yellow 'pee' coloured water. The one behind that had three bowls collecting the same water. The walkway from the kiosk to play area was littered in bowls collecting water, which in my oppinion was a hazard waiting to happen. Some of the toys and equipment was also getting covered in water. It was at this point we decided we need to leave before something serious happened. It is for these reasons that I can only rate this a 2 star establishment, a clear lack of cleaning, maintenance, and health and safety. We would love to return once all of the concerns have been addressed.
