Example Dance Academy

A friend asked me to share a private lesson with Emma, and I'm so glad I said yes. It was the first time I've been to Example Dance Academy and I can't express enough how fantastic Emma is. It's been a wee while since I've danced Ballroom & Latin but Emma was so welcoming. She instantly puts you at ease. Emma has a wealth of knowledge about her profession and delivers high standard tuition in a supportive and encouraging manner. Her choreography is beautiful with accents of flare that make you feel good. The venue is also a lovely environment to dance and learn in.

Caught by the Strictly bug I was looking for a dance experience. One message was enough to go to my first session at Example. Such a fantastic and enthusiastic welcome without overwhelming me. Lovely groups of dancers at all levels.Emma clearly has the dancing skills and a brilliant range of teaching strategies to help you find your feet and help you progress. Each lesson is full of care, practice, support, encouragement and laughter. I really couldn't see myself dancing anywhere else.

Emma is so passionate and dedicated. They are really fun classes and there is no such thing as can't in her classes.....lol.....She gets you looking at technique and positioning in a totally different way. Especially if it's something your struggling with... I have been dancing for alot of years but have learnt so much more from emma.

We've been dancing at Example for around 4 months and we only intended to learn a dance for our wedding. Now, it's something we look forward to every week learning new dances and maybe one day competing! Emma and Charlotte are fantastic teachers, they're very professional, knowledgeable and make the lessons really fun.

Amazing tuition in an encouraging and sensitive environment

Emma is an incredible teacher and dancer and it does not matter if it’s a group or a private lesson as you feel that you are learning in a friendly atmosphere.It does not matter if you are a Beginner or a Advanced dancer as Emma teaches in a relaxed and supportive way that means you get the best out of a lesson
