Gorgeous in absolutely every way!

I bought the most gorgeous silk scarf in fab colours. Created with great attention to detail and a lovely design, it arrived via mail order in only a few days in time for me to wear it to a very special event.

Popped into Sophie Darling as I perused the North Laines of Brighton at the weekend. Like a gallery with works of art in the form of silk printed bomber jackets hung on the walls, this is slow fashion at its best. Everything is made locally in the nearby Darling studio & I was told that if I couldn't see the particular print or style/size of jacket that I wanted, one could be made for me and I would be kept up to date with its progress. Very special one off pieces, in addition to silk scarfs, cards, note pads, phone holders and jewelry. Oh yes......and the owner's beautiful Hungarian vizsla completes the Darling delights in this gorgeous little shop, an ultra stylish escape from the plethora of furniture & thrift-style boutiques in this locale.

I bought one of their Koto jackets and I love it! The designs on all their items are fantastic. I love that it's all hand drawn, hand made in the UK! I'd recommend them to anyone.

The most exquisite and beautiful scarves and clothing. I have a number of scarves, they are part of my staple wardrobe and always get lots of compliments when wearing! Stylish, the highest quality, cannot recommend enough!

Lush lush lush! Sophie beautifully curated the space with incredibly talented Brighton-based designers like her. It's great to be able to meet with makers while you're purchasing their products in the shop. It is crucial to understand slow fashion, conscious consuming and investing in the products which are produced with care and passion. Do go and visit the shop while it's there until February!!!

I bought Sophie's sunrise bomber for my sister and she couldn't have been happier. It's such a special item and you can tell it's had a lot of care gone into it. It feels great to have bought something that's been made locally, thank you very much!x

I absolutely love love love my Sophie Darling silk bomber jacket. Beautiful material, perfect fit, great for any time of year and it will be a fab addition to my wardrobe. Also loved getting regular updates from the lovely team on its progress as it was made. So excited to take it on an outing!
