An intuitive, responsive and highly skilled company.We recently hired Direct Trauma Scene Cleaning with the intention to clear piles of junk from our house. This was an emergency situation, as we had ran into considerable difficulty accessing support over time. At that time, however, I did not realise how incredible Direct Trauma Scene Cleaning would be, or the level of Trauma informed practice they would deliver, as a strategic and informed, highly skilled team to help my family.The initial phonecall put me at ease regarding the level of clearance required, I requested them to clear the items from the property and we arranged a video consultation.It quickly became apparent that DTS knew more about what we needed than I even realised was a possibility. There was a considerable amount of clear knowledge and implicit understanding of the occupational therapy requirements and responsible consideration of and accommodation for mental health concerns and neurodiversity needs.The team consisted of men and women that were highly aware of the ways in which these kinds of circumstances occurred. They had training in aspects of neurodiversity, mental health and physical difficulties, and had an awareness of social care and occupational therapy and were sensitive to CPTSD. They also were extremely family oriented and I felt extremely safe to have them in my home, and completely trusted them around our family and pets, and to handle our belongings.
