Nice quiet beach. There is parking along the beach which is pay and display but also free parking a few roads away. Public toilets available but beware they close the gates to the toilets at 8.

Always a pleasant experience. There was a man walking his dog on the beach and had a member of the public go off on him. Please remember to check if you can walk your dog on the beach before going out.

Some parts are very quiet and the atmosphere is good. But, the parking fees are a joke. Go to the far east of the beach and there's a car park much cheaper, and a harvester carpark along as you buy a drink of course ;)

Great beach for walk or run at any time of the day. I tend to qalk along the beach first thing in the morning, with the fresh breeze coming in off the water.Rhe view on s good day is brilliant and worth going down uo the beach for.The place is really clean and the beach area pebbled all the along the beach to Southend and Shoeburyness.The only issue is most of the promanade area has parking meters so you either need to pay to pay or find a space on one of the side street. I tend to park on the one of the side streets.

Very pretty at the low tide. It always fascinates me to see the way boats get stuck in the mud at low tides. The beach is not busy at all. Saw only a handful of sunbathing people.

Super beach with relaxed vibes - that for me somehow echoed beach vibes in Europe. We caught the end of the day sun and had a nice dip. Lots of parking on the road just above the beach (that you would have to pay for during the day) - and relatively quiet road :)
