Having tried to buy a used mobile phone which turned out to be broken only for the replacement to be faulty to. I waisted the best part of a day exchanging faulty phones. I will never shop here again.The staff in the Boston Lincolnshire store were hopeless bunch.

I find the staff at this cex very friendly & helpful.If you are selling laptops or tablets, they need to do a service check. I came back at 2 weeks and had no issues.With headphones they could give me a price and sell within 5 minutes.Good range of products including dvds, electronics and accessories.

If I could give a zero I would, this place is a total scam. Handed in PS4 for them to send off and get repaired. They sent it off to the repair people and they emailed us saying that they were unable to fix it and that they were sending it back to the shop. This was like last month btw, so my partner went a week or so ago to pick it up and they said that they don't have the PS4. we put it out of mind for now and intended to chase it down and only now we have received an email saying that our Playstation Monthly Subscription had been reactivated????we strongly feel someone is lying here and has fixed the PS4 and taken it because that's the only place we are logged in. It has been unable to turn on for a good few years so we haven't been on subscribed for a long time.feel like we've been scammed

Only ever bought games from here and all of them have worked and been fine. I would say that considering some of the games are second hand it could be a little cheaper. We’ve actually got some electrical items that we need to bring in but when we went in to get an estimate it was pretty quick.

Friendly staff and often lots of great deals. Trade-in prices are often better than competitors. They also offer a good warranty on purchased second-hand products, but make sure you keep your receipt.

I sent my controller there to be repaired and I just want to get the bumpers fixed and stick drift and they sent it back nit fixed but good service

Bought a phone uncharged in good faith of this organisation's '2 year warranty on everything'. It didnt work once charged up. It then physically broke, breaking when receiving a call on vibrate. They didnt uphold the warranty due to the physical damage. They rejected my request for a refund 3 times and my formal complaint yielded no improved service. Eventually (after a month of to and fro) I had to threaten small claims action before they refunded me 2 days before my claim was due to be filed with the County Court. There was no apology or offer of goodwill in settlement.In short, buy at your risk and expect almost non-existent customer service if anything goes wrong. The 'warranty' is they sell under meaningless unless you threaten to go to court. I would give 0 stars if I could.

Typical CeX store but the Staff it's not really qualified. I bought a stuff which was wrongly described. So better check everything before leaving the shop. Also their head office promised to me some 10£ gift voucher as a compensation for mistake and I never got the voucher.

I am absolutely flabbergasted at the service I received at this store today. My husband and I purchased a second hand phone to send to my father abroad who just had his phone stolen. We were told that the phone had no issues. The next day whilst trying to set up the phone, it was fully charged to 100% and within minutes it dropped to 32%. Today (5 days later) I took the phone back for a refund and they said they had to test it first, I mentioned that the receipt mentions nothing about this and neither was this mentioned at point of sale but ok. I later mentioned that if I had to come back later then it might be my husband who returns. The manager then asked who paid for the phone, I said my husband but I have the same card with me, he then claimed that his operation training guide tells him that the cardholder must be present to get the refund REGARDLESS that the card is the same. Bare in mind that other customers have never been asked to show proof that they are the card owner when paying or getting a refund. I suspect there was another discriminatory reason for it, you care to take a guess??I will be returning to get my refund and I will be escalating to trading standards. The phone did not develop a fault in my possession, I was SOLD a faulty item. I am disgusted.
