I am honestly so happy not only with my beautiful furniture (I could have kept buying they have so many beautiful items) but Steve was friendly, professional and an absolute pleasure to do business with. Delivery was really quick. Cannot recommend this company enough 10/10

We used Founders Antiques initially to assess a number of pieces of furniture etc in my recently deceased mother in laws house. Pete and Steve, the proprietors were professional and knowledgeable on what items would prove more popular in the market. They also informed us of their house clearance service and provided a reasonable quotation.My wife and I engaged them in the evaluation and clearance service of a large home with a mixed bag of more valuable items, car boot goods and literally things for recycling. For us to do this alone would have been a mountain to climb and taken far too long. Pete and an associate did an great job. They had a well practiced process and were methodical, quick and efficient over two days clearance....clearly a result of their experience in this area. They were careful and sensitive to the fact this was our family home and were friendly and professional. I would recommend Founders Antiques without hesitation for their knowledge and expertise in antiques and their skills, methodology and processes in house clearance. I bought a Japanese satsuma vase c.1900 and a wing back armchair from Founders. I found the shop to be really interesting. Steve was informative, fair in his pricing and prompt to deliver the chair back to my home in DY10 later on the same day. Will certainly return again, it’s great to now have something like this locally. Recommended!
