Though the staff are polite and friendly, I find that asking an 85 year old pensioner (my father) for money to dump the remains of one broken up paving slab to be a bit cheeky. I may be wrong but it sounds to me that the staff are trying to build up a Christmas kitty.If however you do need to charge for rubble then I suggest that Leeds City Council declare it on the Council Tax forms they send out.

High rating due to nice staff. Not 5* because of the ridiculous corona rules like; no rolling down windows, only one person allowed to unload, and only being able to book twice fortnightly. I only use the tip if there is way too much to put through bins. If you have a small car like me having to book and only having 2 trips per 2 week has turned a one day job into something that is going to take at least 2weeks.

Grab your waste and head here. Clearly signposted, ready for just about any household rubbish, staff are discreet and know their waste. Free disposal that will put a smile on your face and de-clutter your Leeds life. Like a recycled fluorescent tube, I'll be back. But be warned: rubble is trouble - it's trash that requires cash

Been to the tip a lot lately as had a lot of work done at home. The staff couldn't have been more helpful particularly Billy, Gary, Tom and Taj. On numerous occasions they helped me sort and carry the heavier waste and were really pleasant.

Meanwood Household Waste Recycling Centre
Went to drop some garden waste and was told to book an appointment online but there is no sign outside the site informing the customers about this. The council Tax goes up ever year even in lockdown. the management should probably spend few quid to inform customers better.
