The Tayleur Arms
We called there for Sunday lunch, it was so lovely, we had 3 courses and even though the place was really busy, we didn't have to wait too long for each course, staff were attentive, friendly, polite and nothing was too much trouble, so nice to see, I highly recommend. We will definitely be calling again.

Asked for RoastDinner I asked specifically for roast pork and Turkey as gammon makes me Ill it must be the salt, they gave meGammon when I queried this they said that they could assure me that it was pork they had given me…..the meat was the same pinkness of gammon!!! If this was pork then itWas seriously undercooked!! I know the difference don’t treatMe like an idiot!! I won’t be goingBack again

Yum yum yumHad a table booked here on weds 13th dec for 1pm.Lovely family run pub, great service, really friendly staff, amazing carvery I always worry at a carvery with being veggi but was the nicest meal I’ve had in a while they happily sorted out a Mediterranean veg tart very accommodating. Great friendly dog too :)Will definitely be returningThanks tayleur team xx

DO NOT GO HERE. I went for Sunday lunch with my family this afternoon. Table booked for 2PM. 30 minutes passed still no sign of our starters. Turns out they told us our table was booked when in fact it was not. Food arrives after 1 hour and 20 minutes. Not great, no cutlery given, missing items from our meal. Asked for another drink and they gave us watery coke. To top it off, when the bill came, they didn't even have the decency to knock a price of our bill for the dire service we recieved. The manager was abusive when we explained why we were not happy and called me and my mother in law names. He was drunk as I saw him drinking beer at the bar the whole time we were there.

Lovely family run pub. New owners are doing an amazing job. Went there for dinner with my husband and mom. Service was great, food was excellent would highly recommend.

Really disappointing.The servers were rude, incorrect food ordering even though the order was checked to ensure it was correct, and the food wait was extraordinarily long (1 hour+) .There was a lack of communication throughout and appeared to be lots of other people waiting long periods of time for service, food and to pay their bill. Tables were also left dirty for the entirety of our stay which wasn’t pleasant to see.The food was unfortunately also not amazing, although it looked nice. For starters the garlic mushroom bread was really soggy where I presume it had been left for a while sitting in the sauce, the roast dinner stuffing and Yorkshire puddings were burnt, mash was lumpy, meat was fatty, there was not enough veg to serve the table and not all the menu items were served.I would not recommend this pub and probably won’t be going back :(

Called in for Sunday lunch , hadn't booked so took a chance ! Staff very polite and helpful! Short wait for food which arrived hot ! Service was good ! Food was lovely and very good value ! Plenty of veg accompanied separately! Will definitely come again !

Went with the kids for a meal, lovely meal, kids menu portion sizes were really good. Staff friendly and welcoming. Couldn't ask for more, will come back again
