Monknash Beach
What a cool beach! Check the tide times as there’s not much at high tide but at low tide you can follow the cliff round to a sandy bay. The cliffs are amazing, really interesting. The car park (honesty box donation) is a 15 minute walk away through a nature reserve so you can’t drive any closer, wear comfy shoes as it’s quite a rocky trail. Dogs are welcome.

This beach is perfect for surfing, it is definitely worth the walk down to it. There is a car park on a grass field which is a paid contribution. Then it takes approximately 30-45 mins depending on how fast you walk. The walk is very scenic with loads of streams and water falls. A really lovely area. Will definitely go again.

Lovely walk to this secluded beach. Ideal if you love being in nature and by the sea. Dramatic cliff coastline typical of this area. This beach is more raw and hidden - no facilities. If you want cafe, toilets etc go to Llantwit Major or Southerndown.

Gorgeous beach and it wasn’t too busy! Easy to get down to from the cliffs and It is a pretty large area, watch out for tide times when you come depending on what you want! Isn’t too far of a hike from Dunraven Bay either, Good spot for lunch on a hike! Recommended sunny blue skied day.

Great beach a very short drive from Cardiff. Pembroke is incredible - but not exactly a day trip. For an afternoon at the beach Monknash is a solid choice. When the tide is out there is a large sandy beach, and the cliffs make for a spectacular backdrop to your sunbathing!!

Bit of a challenge to get to (2 x ladders and some scarey steps), but we had the beach virtually to ourselves when we got there. You can get there from near Nash Point and Dunraven, but watch the tides!!!

Such a lush little beach for a sunset, parking is in a farmers field with an Honesty box, it’s a good 20min walk down through the woods then you’re on the rocks by beautiful cliffs, some patches of sand but not for long. It is a windy beach & sometimes has a few nude bathers down the far end, Also a great costal path in general

terrible beach no chargers for my phone or vape. There was also a distinct lack of cafes and toilets here. Got a bit thirsty so i tried to drink the vast amount of water that i saw but to my surprise someone had dumped loads of salt into it. 5/5 highly recommended visiting
