My elderly mother was referred for cateract surgery at the London Independent Hospital.I found Mr Mark Hulbert to be extremely professional, and courteous, his calm manner put my mum at ease. The op went very well and the follow up next day was quick and without fuss.Would highly recommend for eye surgery.Thank you Mr Hulbert

I was coping with four pairs of glasses, driving ,reading varifocals and for playing piano. I also had cataracts. A friend referred me to Mr Hulbert. He did thorough tests, explained all the pros and possible cons. He has a very calm and reassuring manner. My sight is great both distance and close up...absolutely delighted.

I saw Mr Hulbert at The London Independent Hospital. The facilities and staff are difficult to fault. Mr Hulbert was very thorough and kept me informed of the process and options that I could choose.I would like to say, that perhaps like a lot of people who have never experienced eye surgery, I was extremely apprehensive. I did not need to be. I had both eyes done in the same session, with a vari-focal lens. The complete procedure was painless and not remotely uncomfortable.During the process I was constantly re-assured and kept informed. I am now 2 months on and can read small print for fun...I don't even need reading glasses!Andrew

My grandmother, Mrs Yasmin Patel was referred to LONDON independent hospital for cataract surgery. She was made to feel at ease throughout and Mr Hulbert was a true gentleman and expert in his field. I recently had cataract surgery at The London Independent Hospital under the care of Mr Mark Hulbert. I am immensely pleased with the care and service I received. The nursing staff was very helpful and supportive. I can't say enough about my consultant, Mr Hulbert. He was professional, informative, and caring. He answered my many questions and gave me all the options available to me so that I could make an informed decision. I am truly grateful.

Getting surgery done on both eyes was certainly a challenge for me but Mr Hulbert was very thorough during the various phases in the lead upto his painstakingly good work in the operating theatre and afterwards. I have full praise and so pleased that he did the work and that I wasn't passed onto another member of a team, which often happens.

Mr Mark Hulbert carried out cataract surgery in 2018 which was very successful but I developed blurriness and required laser treatment to correct the issue. I attended Mr Hulberts clinic in London with follow up in St Albans and I am delighted with the results.It was a painless process and I am truly amazed that the clarity of vision has been restored . Mr Hulbert is methodical and thorough which is very reassuring .
