Rock Out! Music School

My son has been learning drums at Chorlton Rock Out for years now. He LOVES it. The staff are brilliant - they make it fun and engaging and treat the students as equals. They get 45 mins of learning followed by a 10-15 minute performance where they get to play 3 songs together. It's a fantastic way of building confidence! Can't recommend it enough - for all levels - beginner upwards.

Run by local multi instrumentalist Mike with excellent tuition from RNCM students. My 15 year old daughter has been coming since she was 7 and it’s helped her become a great drummer.

Great music school that gets kids interested in playing real music. My boys have done a few different classes but usually wanted to quit after a while. Rock school really got them excited about playing songs they knew and got them more interested in music and playing. This is the one class they have never thought about quitting and they have now been coming for years. It has really helped with confidence and opened them up to the gift of learning a real musical instrument. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

My kids so enjoy Rock Out! The small groups (1-2-1 or 1-2-2) means each session the kids get loads of instruction. Their confidence as well as their music skills have improved amazingly.

I highly recommend Rock Out. It’s a great experience for kids to take part in, they really enjoy it and it builds their confidence. Mike always makes sure that the music is as good as it can be and that the kids stretch their learning.

Rock out is fantastic! Been here for a good few years now and my kids hardly ever stick with anything. My 2 boys go here oldest is 13 and has learnt to play electric guitar with rock out and my youngest is 8 and is now learning to play the drums. Mike runs the show and is brill, always runs smoothly and arranges a performance each year which the kids look forward to. The sessions are fab and all the teachers are enthusiastic and great with kids. Glad we found this place and highly recommend it
