Hythe Beach
Lovely pebble beach. Beautiful setting. You will find many anglers fishing. A great place if you fancy a swim, a barbeque and soak in the sun.Make sure you carry your flip flops, the pebbles are hard and can make walking very difficult and painful. There is no pier, arcade arenas or fish and chips shops nearby. Just a calm relaxing place.

Nice long strip of beach. Few places to eat along the promenade, which runs all the way to Sandgate. Dog friendly Oct to April but DO BE CAREFUL as fishermen use it regularly and leave all sorts behind including fishing line, hooks and weights.

This is where we go for a splash in the sea. It's a pebble beach, just a few Fisher men around. Most of the time it's only us, the sea and the sky.A lovely piece of nature.

We visit Hythe alot as we have family living locally. Lovely walks along the promenade and the military canal, the town is quiet but with plenty varied mix of shops, some have closed during the pandemic but you can normally find what one needs within the larger stores. Parking can be during good weather along the front but we do have a blue badge due to my wife being in a wheel chair.

A lovely pebble beach. It was very quiet when we went and my children enjoyed finding stones and splashing in the water. There was a cafe at the end of the beach which had food, drink and nice clean toilets. If you are lucky you will get to see one of the fishing boats go out to sea.

Outdoor gents and ladies toilets were open and reasonable, shingle working beach with good fish and chip shop at one end and a couple of pubs and cafes dotted down the front. Parking free and unrestricted on the front with access over the sea defences to the waterfront

Such a wonderful place, lovely walks, interesting military history and the high street is old school and has some lovely places to eat and drink. Definitely recommend a visit here. If you can rent a place on the seafront like we did, that would be the icing on the cake!! Waking up to the superb Sea views is enough to start your day in a fantastic way!!!!
