Went recently and they have removed the snooker table from upstairs leaving the four down. They have replaced it with a pool table and put the darts board upstairs as well, there are also tables for games. This in my opinion makes a lovely games area.

Beautiful building and a lovely, friendly and safe environment with knowledgeable and efficient bar staff. Not enough entertainment to draw new and existing members in so unfortunately results in the place being empty most of the time.The clubs major downfall is the current Manager!

Only been to this place twice, although the building and club itself is a nice place, the manager is incredibly obnoxious and ignorant. Not only does he talk down to the bar staff in a bullying way but he also has a tenancy to do the same with patrons from time to time.I would never visit this place again and advise to stay away as it's not worth the time or money.

We visited on a Wednesday night when all meals are half price enjoyed a lovely roast beef dinner followed by lemon cheesecake and ice cream was lovely. Worth a visit.

What a beautiful building and lovely club this is. Everyone is so welcoming and you dont feel like an imposter! I arent too sure on the joining rules and how traditional the club is remaining, however, I won't hesitate to encourage locals to join. Snooker tables galore and plenty of seating in the club. One thing I would suggest would be to male more of the outdoor seating as its possible it could overlook grandads park and would likely get a few people sitting outside in the sun with their furry friends. Joining is only £10 at the moment. Come on peeps , make your way to this very welcoming memorial club and beautiful building
