Langdale Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team

My daughter and I were trapped near the top of Langdale Fell. The Mountain Rescue team were utterly brilliant, and got us to safety and brought us back down the mountain to the car park in Grasmere. Each and every one of the team were so friendly, reassuring and professional and I could not speak highly enough of all of them. At first I was embarrassed to have to had to call them, and by the end I felt honoured to have met them all. Obviously I'd much rather it hadn't happened, but so very grateful for their assistance.

I cannot find the words to thank the team who came to my assistance. The kindness they showed me in addressing my medical need; and the camaraderie between the team in getting me to safety was second to none.Thank you.Tim (Australia)
