Bowhunter Archery

Great place to have a try of archery set in a quiet wooded area. Friendly instructors guide you through the basics then on to shoot either dinosaurs, zombies or a haunted castle. Great fun for all ages.

This was a great place where instead of just shooting static targets with your bows you get the choice of shooting dinosaurs, zombies and even dragons. you walk over to each of the zone so it's a nice little walk through the forest, might spot some wildlife, in the forms of squirrels Birds or deer. staff are very friendly and accommodating and we had a great fun. Worth a visit

We went their as a birthday present for my dad. Awesome experience. The two trainers were lovely and really patient with us as my parents don't speak english :) Many thanks to them, everybody left the place with the will to find an archery club at home !!

Outstanding. So much fun. Shout out to David, one of the instructors who made it even more enjoyable. Boys ages 12 and 15 loved this.

Booked in advance and on the day it was raining, didn't find out till we got there that this could stop the day as it may be dangerous. Fortunately for us the rain eased and Sandra and Andy were great and patient with us learning how to shoot arrows. Had a great time and given us the archery bug! Well worth the visit.

Visited with my wife and two young children (4 and 7) along with my parents (late 70s), The team were fantastic and explained everything from how to be a safety marshal for the two kids, though to the best methods for my parents who were a bit nervous. They even laughed at some of my Dad jokes !It was our first time, so all novices, and the session started with a safety lesson, followed by some target shots to assess our needs (arrow sizes etc..). Then, we progressed to dinosaurs and creature targets. We had several goes of emptying our quiver before having a small two group competition..Following this we moved on to the zombie zone where we could again practice, but then a slightly different format of competition again..All in all, we had a fantastic hour session, my parents couldn’t stop talking about it and the kids loved it, asking when could we go again.Massive recommendations from us and a huge thumbs up for Bowhunter Archery ..

Great experience and superb support and guidance throughout - time flies through enjoyment but Andy seems too have so much time and attention to detail to help all. Extremely knowledgeable and an excellent coach in skills of archery and Axe Throwing.Would highly recommend giving this a go

Absolutely the best thing I've done in such a long time. Andy and his team were so good at helping me learn to shoot a bow and arrow. They were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I thought I couldn't have fun any more and they helped me to see I could enjoy shooting arrows, not only at cardboard targets, but zombies, dodos and dinosaurs too. Can't wait to drive the 7 hours needed to try combat archery with my team mates soon! Would definitely recommend to any age and fitness level. The forest setting is beautiful. The site is well set-up and thought out. Something for everyone!

Brilliant time had by family of 4. Really enjoyed it and the instructor ensures you know how to use the bow and arrow before going into the forrest. Surprised at how much fun this activity is. Highly recommend.
