I was really struggling to get help with organising a new floor into our house in Wakefield as I had to do it remotely while based in the USA. I am so grateful I came across this company. Martin was immediately on the ball and was able to efficiently give me options for floors by email. Communication was excellent and the service from start to finish was professional and easy. Excellent service received from the Oates company.A very prompt response to my initial enquiry; Company representative clearly knowledgeable with respect to both the requirements of my ‘site’ and the products best able to address any issues encountered.The work undertaken involved preparing and fitting a complete new dining room floor ‘marrying’ this with an established sitting room flooring and ‘putting to rights’ existing, less than unsatisfactory work, in our hall area.Oates not only offered a number of quality and imaginative ‘options’ - all within our budget - but also volunteered staff members prepared to work whilst my husband and I were on holiday - in this way enabling the whole to be completed at the most convenient time.We have no hesitation in recommending this long established Company not only with respect to their expertise but also their budgetary considerations - Stephen and Caroline M-B.

Used Oates to supply and fit the flooring in two houses we’ve lived in over the years. Always recommend them to family and friends. Great customer service, reasonably priced and very helpful when choosing the right product. The fitters are always very thorough and do an excellent job.

I can't recommend Martin and his team at Oates Flooring highly enough. Superb service throughout the process, including stepping in on installation day 1 to help rectify an unexpected issue they weren't even responsible for causing. They were the one service that was completed on time and without stress in my entire extension project. The advice in choosing the flooring was excellent too. I will definitely be back for my carpets from them.

The showroom has a vast choice of everything you need. The guys there leave you to browse and only come to help when you ask, no pressure sales which is great. The flooring we chose was good value and they fitted us in for fitting that week.

Ordered J2 Carpenters oak vinyl plank flooring. Staff were extremely helpful with the choosing process letting us take several samples home to make the decision easier. Staff measured and organised fitting. Fitting was done efficiently and all rubbish was taken away. We are really happy with the floor, it looks great.

Martin and David listened to what we wanted and made sure we were within our budget, but still maintained the quality we wanted as well. The whole process was faultless from first visit and measuring through to the fitting days and follow up.We’re really pleased with the end results, we have what seems a brand new staircase and upstairs looks a different house!!Highly recommended; small, friendly, personal service and great value for money.
