The Garden Flat Edinburgh
We had a most fantastic stay at the Garden Flat. The flat is beautifully appointed and as luxurious as a five star hotel. The shower in the main bathroom is easily in our top 3 in the world! The location, in Edinburgh's New Town, made our walks to places really interesting and it was a joy to take in Edinburgh's beauty.The garden at the rear of the property enabled us to have drinks alfresco and added to our enjoyment of the property, which we highly recommend.

We have just left The Garden Flat and wish we’d stayed longer.The Flat is in a fantastic location. Right in the heart of Edinburgh’s New Town.It’s spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, warm and cosy, and feels huge!All the fixtures and fittings are very high quality, the plumbing is superb, and the beds are amazingly comfortable.I’m an incredibly picky person, but the flat is all fitted out exactly as a luxury flat should be.I really cannot fault it- and I have already recommended it to a friend in Canada to use when he comes over.Very happy to recommend- you will not be disappointed with this accommodation.Ross, from Worthing, West Sussex- (brother and sister living in Edinburgh).

I would recommend The Garden Flat for anyone looking to stay in Edinburgh.The location is ideal, on a quiet but pretty street and just five to ten minutes walk from George Street and the many restaurants and shops in Edinburgh's New Town.The flat itself is clean, modern and spacious. There is a lovely small courtyard style garden which was ideal for us with an eleven month old, who also had the best time exploring the spacious flat. The bathrooms seem to be recently renovated and were modern and clean.The owners were very helpful when booking and sent a list of recommendations from restaurants to museums and various ahead of our trip, which was a great addition.I will definitely be recommending to friends and family and look forward to returning in the future.

My friend and I had a wonderful two night stay in this beautiful apartment. It is located in a lovely quiet street but is very handy for the shops, restaurants and tourist attractions in Edinburgh.It is very tastefully furnished and decorated throughout and provides the most luxurious, comfortable and spacious surroundings. The lovely garden space is an added bonusThe owner communicates very promptly and is extremely helpful, even taking the trouble to post my sunglasses back to me which I had left.I would most definitely stay again!

My wife and I have just returned from a wonderful four-night break in Edinburgh, staying at The Garden Flat. The apartment looks divine in the photos but the reality is, if anything, even better.The whole property is packed with thoughtful little touches and great attention to detail. First impressions: spotlessly clean, warm and cosy, modern, quality fixtures and fittings, well-maintained, quirky artwork; a five-star home-from-home. The kitchen is equipped with top-of-the-range appliances, there are high-quality furnishings and AV features include a large smart TV and Sonos audio. The garden area presents a peaceful outlook from the stunning lounge / dining kitchen. Effective heating throughout the apartment is supplemented by the wood-burning stove - perfect for cosy relaxation on chilly winter evenings. The place felt very spacious for the two of us but also provides generous proportions for four (eg two couples or a family) served by two large bedrooms and two bathrooms (one en-suite).The location in the heart of the New Town is perfect - city centre shops, restaurants, bars and attractions (New Town and Old Town) can be reached within a 10 - 25 minute walk. Bus stops at both ends of the street offer frequent and reliable services to many parts of the city. Two small supermarkets and a whole host of independent shops in the local area make it easy to self-cater. However, with an unbelievable range of outstanding cafes and restaurants (many offering take-aways) within 15 minutes' walk of the apartment, many will want to let someone else do the cooking.Helpful communications from the owner included a comprehensive guide to the property along with a great list of recommended eateries and shops.We are missing our luxurious Edinburgh city-pad bolthole already and plan to return next year. We highly recommend The Garden Flat as a luxurious place to stay in this unique, beautiful and captivating city.

A perfect place to stay when visiting this lovely city. The flat was spotlessly clean and fitted with top of the range appliances. It has the feel of a 5 star apartment but with a warm and homely atmosphere. The garden space is the finishing touch..We walked easily into the city centre from the apartment and just wished that we had booked some extra nights.Highly recommend .....

We stayed in the Garden Flat with our young son and my parents for 2 nights. Northumberland Street is a very beautiful street and in such a good location for exploring Edinburgh. There is lots of places for eating and drinking nearby. We loved Leo’s Beanery for breakfast!As soon as you walk down the stairs to the Garden Flat you know it is a special place and upon entry we were not disappointed. It is decorated beautifully and finished to the highest of standards. It has a lovely warm, homely feel and is very comfortable to relax in. The kitchen is very well equipped should you wish to self cater. The view from the living/dining area to the garden out the back is stunning. In fact, my only disappointment was that we weren’t there when it was warmer to enjoy the outside space. We will certainly be back to make use of the bbq and garden which is so prettily lit.The bedrooms are also lovely with lots of storage, extremely comfortable beds and the duvet and pillows were great quality. No complaints with the en-suite or bathroom either-great showers and lovely bath products provided.I really couldn’t recommend the Garden Flat enough and will be sure to return. Scott was so helpful and very prompt to answer any questions that we had.

We absolutely loved this flat. The location is perfect if you want a little bit of peace and quiet, yet it's less than 10 minutes walk away from the main shops, restaurants and bars of Edinburgh city center. The accommodation is very comfortable, clean and well maintained. Everything you could possible need to make your stay enjoyable is provided. We would not hesitate in recommending this accomodation to our friends and family.
