Small restaurant but they make the most of the space.South Indian food and it tastes great. Reasonably priced.**Note that service charge of 12.50% is automatically added. Tipping isn’t a culture in the UK so I think this is for tourists.You can ask them to remove it and tip on your own if you’d like.

The restaurant is okey. The food was tasty but we left with the impression that everyone there is in a hurry. The waiters were every 2 minutes walking around the table to look if you finished to take the dish. Even my friend didn't finished her food that they were there to lift up her dish. A little bit expensive for our budget. Not so much food. Definitively is not going to be my first option in another trip to London.

The dining at the Sagar Vegetarian restaurant at Leisters Square, and it was a good experience. The service at the restaurant was impeccable. From the moment I was seated, the staff made me feel welcome and attended to my every need from start to finish. The food specially Sagar Special Dosa was nothing short of extraordinary. It is hard to get the Indian flavor but the symphony of flavours tastes like true Indian. The quality of the food and service justifies the reasonable prices. It's a must visit for Vegetarian Lovers, if you are near Piccadilly Circus, London.

We ordered gobhi manchurian, pani puri and Rava dosa. Rava dosa was nice. Gobi manchurian was not cooked well. The cauliflower inside was raw and the pieces were too big but the manchurian gravy taste good. Pani puri was served with boiled chickpeas instead of potato. For me this was the first time with boiled chickpeas in pani puri but I am fan of authentic pani puri so the taste was below average. I think may be can try few more speciality items at this place as the location is nice and have lots many menu items.

Really good dosa here if you're looking for your dosa fix in a more relaxed and calmer environment compared to another dosa restaurant in the area. Good range of dosa's to choose from as well as many other items on the menu. All the food was well cooked with very good flavours and textures. The Sagar special dosa filling was a bit wet for my liking but has great flavour. The chowpati is very moorish and has a nice underlying heat. The prices are very fair here and the service was quick. The only downside was that they no longer do the South Indian filter coffee which is a shame as it's delicious but they do masala chai if you need a tea hit with your dosa. Overall, a great little restaurant and would happily come back to try other items in the menu.

It's one of the best Indian restaurant so far I got in the UK. The taste is totally as Indian food with full of flavour and with perfect spices. I had masala dosa and alu papdi chaat and it was fabulous. Would recommend to taste it once and you won't go anywhere else hereafter. Cheers

This is a great restaurant to go to before the theatre. They are pretty relaxed staff so I would suggest telling them your tight for time if you are. The food was so good I order a paneer dosa and my friend got a masala dosa. Both delicious and filling. We also got savory donuts and samosas for our starters, the samosas were ones I've not tried before they were mild in spice and had cashew nuts inside and the donuts were very tasty with great dipping sauces.I have saved this place and will be coming again for sure.It's great for vegans and vegetarians.
