Julia was a wonderful support during my pregnancy, birth and beyond. I was very nervous beforehand and she helped me through each stage, answering endless questions and being a constant support wherever we were in our journey. We’re going to miss you! X

Juilia was an amazing Doula. She was knowledgeable and really listened to our wants and concerns during the whole process. My husband and I became a much closer team due to her sessions and we went into the birth informed about the process and about our rights. Her teachings allowed us to work together while remaining calm through an otherwise turbulent birth. She also became a great companion during the first few months of having a little one, she was always on the end of the phone and always happy to help out whether it was looking after mum, baby or the house. We are incredibly grateful Julia came into our lives when she did and I would highly recommend seeking Julia out as a doula.

My husband and I wanted a doula for the birth of our first baby due to feeling overwhelmed with the amount of decisions to make RE birth! Julia was amazing at easing our nerves, providing support, and sharing resources that could inform our decision making. Julia helped me reframe my “birth plan” into “birth preferences” and plan for scenarios A, B and C, which in hindsight was a huge help as things didn’t go according to my “plan” during labour. Her emotional support/guidance in the weeks I was overdue and having to make decisions regarding medical induction played a huge part in the positive outcomes of my labour.During labour Julia was an incredible support to both myself and my husband, and having her there to advocate for me helped us have the most amazing experience. Julia has also been so supportive postnatally, keeping in touch over WhatsApp and offering moral support during our breastfeeding journey!We would absolutely love to have the support of Julia for future pregnancies and would recommend her support to others looking for a doula.

Following a late diagnosis of gestational diabetes and polyhydramnios, I contacted Julia to help me navigate the potential risks associated with those conditions, the information given by the consultants and my options for birthing a potentially large baby.Due to location, we were unable to meet face to face, however Julia was very generous with her time and worked with me remotely often in the evenings.Knowing I was keen to have a mindful and positive birth experience, Julia provided me with unbiased advice as well as great resources for building up my knowledge and context to the risks my consultants were raising. She aided my preparation for discussions with consultants and provided positivity around my decisions making me feel empowered and supported.I would recommend Julia as a doula to any mums / parents to be, as part of your pregnancy and birth support.
