Lovely stay, comfortable and clean room. Tasty breakfast. But it was the staff that made this hotel stand out. So helpful and friendly every single member we came across. Also, Leigh Anne at the spa was wonderful. Highly recommended. Thank you.

I stayed in the new building. Room was great, with a nice view of the golf course. Service was excellent. Pretty good breakfast. We had dinner in the old building which had a nice restaurant and bar. Good food, decent service. Location is very good, within a reasonable walk to the downtown area.

Stayed here in May of 2023. The hotel was a pleasant walk from the city centre and was in a quiet setting despite being so close to the heart of the city. Staff were very friendly, the garden suite room we stayed in was very clean and well-appointed, and the property as a whole was very good value for money. Would definitely stay again on my next trip to Inverness.

The Kingsmills was a phenomenal hotel to stay at in Inverness. 15 min walk from center city or quick taxi ride. Accommodations and staff were fantastic. We celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary here with dinner as well and it was delicious.

The best thing about the Kingsmills Hotel, by far, was the excellent friendly staff, so accommodating and gave our dog lots of fuss, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were immaculate and clean, tastefully decorated. Perhaps could have had nicer tea/coffees in the room given how upmarket the place is. Equally given the accommodating nature, dogs were not allowed in the main restaurant, but perhaps could have been a cubby hole out of the way. That said, they were happy to set up a table in the waiting area so we could have breakfast with our dog.

We booked a two night deal with meal allowance so we could use two body massage gift vouchers and have afternoon tea. Everything about our stay was brilliant and faultless. Great welcome from Pam and the spa staff were great. The restaurant staff were so attentive and worked so hard to keep the busy restaurant flowing. The room was one of the best we’ve ever stayed in. It was a wholly wonderful experience as always. We got married at the hotel in 2012 and love coming back. Thank you so much for such a fabulous time.

Six friends and I had afternoon tea recently. We have no complaints about the sandwiches, scones or cakes. All enjoyed by everyone. Unfortunately we didn’t get to try the shot glass pots seen on your web site. There were a few aspects of our experience we thought we would raise simply to enhance the “afternoon tea” experience. I know we may be in the minority but feel our views are valid.First of all the table was too small. We were 3 a side and the 7th person stuck on the end. A round table would have been so much better and roomier. The 4 ladies who had dietary requirements were served their sandwiches and cakes on an individual plate each. Surely this is not necessary. Certainly separate the sandwich and cake requirements but it is not nice to be presented with everything on what looks like a dinner plate. The 7 scones arrived on two large plates with the jam and cream. They were placed on the table followed by the cake stand which the waitress squeezed in as best she could. Then came the teapots and coffee pots. They were replenished but the used ones weren’t taken away. By now you should have a visual of how the table looked. We must point out the staff were lovely but obviously very busy.An afternoon tea table should be aesthetically pleasing but this one certainly was not. Also we felt it missed a tablecloth and china cups etc. for the full experience.Lastly we felt we were sitting at a table more suited to a canteen with the Perspex top. Sorry if this sounds harsh but even though it will be easy to clean it just was lacking the ambience usually enjoyed when having afternoon tea with family and friends.
