Lola's Cupcakes Kingston Upon Thames

I work local & often come in the coffee. The girls in here are really friendly & the products are always really well displayed. I ordered a cake for my daughters birthday & it went down really well at the party.. Big thumbs up, well done!

Anna and her team are amazing! She is always very welcoming and ensures excellent service. This is now my favourite cake shop.

Just opened in Kingston, really nice place, I tried the triple chocolate brownie and was delicious.Reasonable prices and big selection, including vegan options.

I mean Wow! I bought a strawberries and cream cake for my dad’s birthday and it was absolutely amazing! I only ended up getting it because I forgot to buy a cake and this was delivered by deliveroo the same day! I will not be buying cakes anywhere else in the future! Everyone who came, said that they had not tasted a cake like it!The cake itself was beautifully decorated and well packed. It came in a box with a thermometer attached to ensure the cake was stored properly. Admittedly, it was more than I would normally pay for a birthday cake but it was really worth the money! I will definitely become a repeat customer.

We always order Lola’s cakes for every special occasion, this time I forgot to order (oops!) and needed to pop into my local store. After checking where it was located I was shocked to read the negative reviews. Lucky for me my experience was seamless and the girl at the counter on a Sunday afternoon was more than happy to help me choose my cake and despite me speaking aloud and mentioning that it “doesn’t really look like a birthday cake” she very kindly offered to personalise the board free of charge by adding a happy birthday message. I am really pleased, thank you Lola’s.

We all love Lola's cupcakes in our family, they taste delicious and they have a wide variety of choices. I was very excited that they opened the store locally. My order (my daughter's birthday cake) unfortunately got mixed up but they went the extra mile to solve the problem and I was satisfied with the service at the end!!Edited: I had to take one star from this review because after we cut the cake the filling wasn't the one I was told. The cake tasted amazing but my daughter doesn't like chocolate cake and this was! (I was told it was vanilla).I should've given less stars for the overall service experience but some member of the staff were great and still the products are amazing, they just have to work towards training better their staff!!!I had to take off one star as subsequently I had other problems with the staff. The products are nice but the service very lacking!

Cupcakes are great!After all, it is Lola’s! So one should definitely try them :)There are rooms for improvements for the service by the staff members but I think it comes with time and experience (and some appropriate training), and I hope it will happen sooner rather than later :)
