Stuart completed work in our hallway. He was professional and friendly and extremely knowledgeable about painting techniques and explained everything with withe lots of detail. He completed the work to a very high standard and made our very old stair banister look like new.

Stuart wallpapered my downstairs toilet. I was so pleased with the results! It has completely transformed what was a very uninteresting room. Stuart was brilliant at advising us, gave us lots of ideas at the initial consultation and was really helpful at making adjustments to plans we had made, together. He is thorough conscientious and friendly! I will not hesitate to contact Stuart with further decorating jobs! Highly recommend!

Stuart has just finished our downstairs skirting boards and our staircase. Sanded, primed and painted. Stuart responded quickly to a quote request and we were booked in quickly for the works to be carried out. Stuart completed the job to a high standard and cleaned up afterwards very well. Would recommend and will certainly use Stuart again for further jobs.

We were delighted with Stuart's work. He renovated a dated room, not only painting but fixing so many dents and problems with the plaster and areas around the window in particular. Fantastic work, and very friendly chap too. We have already recommended him to friends and he will definitely be our first choice when we are in need of further work.

Not just a good painter/decorator but one of the best tradesmen we’ve hired!We asked him to decorate our living room, hallway, stairs and landing, and he did a stellar job in all areas.Stuart has great attention to detail; he masked off perfectly and there was no trace after he completed the job. Little things, like taking care not to track dirt and leaves in, were really appreciated and made living with the ongoing work much easier for us. He gave us a super detailed quote that made it very easy to see what we were being billed for, but he’s certainly not stingy and will go above and beyond to patch the smaller issues.He’s very good at noticing problems and fixing them before the customer even knows about it! He’ll pick up on chips and scratches that would show up after a new coat of paint and fix them, clean and paint up areas you only notice from one angle (that you might see months later and regret not mentioning!).Finally he’s just a really nice guy and super into his work. Would 100% recommend Stuart and Powpad, brilliant stuff.

Stuart spent a great deal of time getting to know us and what we wanted. He was very reassuring and you could sense his excitement of wanting to work with us. He certainly is a perfectionist and went the extra mile in preparing all the surfaces. Despite being away for 5 days, we felt we were still in the house following the progress through texts and photographs. We were so blown away when we opened the door to find our completely transformed rooms with all the lovely Victorian features coming to life.

Stuart has recently finished decorating our kitchen diner. We’d just had a new kitchen fitted so there was plenty of work to do. He was very thorough in his approach prior to quoting and demonstrated a great eye for detail as to what work he’d need to do. This was all set out in the quote so we knew exactly what we were paying for. The work was to a high standard and preparation was meticulous. Stuart ensured we were kept up to date throughout including any extra work he thought necessary. Every effort was made to ensure floor, cupboards and worktops were covered and the place was left clean and tidy. Above all else, Stuart is a thoroughly nice person. Honest, open and very easy to get on with. Will definitely be using him again and happy to recommend.
