Visited this cattery after having it recommended to us. Lovely clean cattery . Nicely designed. Several cats in on arrival and our cat seemed happy staying at this cattery. Will be returning again. June 2017.

Our cat recently stayed at this cattery and it is fabulous! The pens have multiple layers and inside/outside areas for them to be in and the owner is very welcoming and knowledgeable. It was so good I explained to my 8 year old that the cat was going to stay at a hotel whilst we were away!I am very pleased to have found this place as I know I am leaving the family cat in safe hands.

We booked a week for our Popcorn. And we will use again. Popcorn looked very content when we came to pick her up.

We have been using this Cattery for many years as it’s the only one our cat likes. The whole set up is so cat friendly. Can’t fault it at all.

I chose this cattery based on the reviews. I visited the cattery and it seemed great to leave my cat whist I went away for 1 week holiday.I supplied food that my cat liked to eat, being so fussy. Texted while I was away to check how my cat was doing but I was ignored.After my holiday when I first saw my cat I was in shock, he had lost a lot of weight and was immensely distressed and constantly miaowed.His bed was full of cat hairs not my cats and the food I supplied was not returned either. Considering my cat looked like he didn’t eat much.I would never use this cattery again.

We were nervous about leaving our little cat Tallulah for the first time at a Cattery, Achates really gave us peace of mind and looked after Tallulah tremendously and she was very settled. My family have been bringing their cats to Achates for many years now and love it there too. We will certainly be bringing our cat back here again! Thankyou very much.

My cat has stayed here on two occasions last October and again in September. I'm really pleased about the care he received. Lovely caring staff and great environment. Would highly recommend.
