Norham Bike Yard

A superb place to stay whether or not you are a cyclist, but if you are arriving by bike prepare to feel right at home. We were greeted by Jim who quickly noticed that one of our party was missing. When we explained that he was making much slower progress, Jim was genuinely concerned and offered to go and find him and pick him up. Bike storage facilities were top notch and the cycle-centric décor is a lovely touch. Everything was spotless and the rooms were spacious and well equipped. The lounge is light and comfortable, I wish our schedule had allowed us to spend some time relaxing. Jim and Mary Rose have an eye for the little details that make a difference and nothing was too much trouble for them. I can't recommend the Bike Yard highly enough.

Jim and Mary Rose, who own and run the place are amazing and knowledgeable about local sights and cycling routes.They have a whole garage of equipment for cyclists to mend their bikes.The showers are amazing, the rooms are quiet and clean. It's close to amazing cycling and hiking routes. I'd recommend it and I'll be going back again.

What an absolutely amazing place to stay. Amazing facilities for cyclists and very comfortable and friendly.I am from London but would consider coming back via this beautiful spot again.

We stayed here for the night on a weekend cycle trip and had such a fantastic time. The owners are so friendly and helpful and went out their way to help us with some bike trouble! It's a really comfortable place and the breakfast was incredible - set us up for a day's cycle! Would recommend to anyone and hope to return in future.

This may be the perfect BnB. Welcoming and homely but modern and bright, perfectly furnished, extremely comfortable and the breakfast is as large or small as you want it with fantastic local quality. The village is also a nice place to be, seems a good community with The Mason Arms providing a nice dinner. Jim and Mary are the perfect hosts, attentive and helpful whenever you need them. I'm a cyclist but it's definitely a treat for everyone. Lovely stuff.

What a lovely place to stay, not just Norham, but at the Bike Yard also. Good easy signposted parking at the back and welcomed by the hosts. Shown to nice spacious room with lovely crisp linen and nice tonal colours adorned by cycling pictures. Good functional (clean) bathroom with shower. Breakfast is taken in the communal lounge from a pre-ordered breakfast list. Locally sourced produce right down to the bread rolls fresh from the bakery next door. I'd recommend the overnight oats. This is a fairly new business with an emphasis on cyclists but genuinely all are welcomed. A really fantastic family run place, focused towards cyclists but would be great for anyone. We really enjoyed our stay, the hosts were really enthusiastic and kind, giving us lots of advice on cycling routes in the area- which are sublime. The facilities are really modern and clean, perfect after a long day in the saddle. The breakfast was great, and the village pub is just opposite for an evening meal and drinks. Thoroughly recommend.

I think it's all been said in the previous reviews; this is a great place! Really nice rooms, great communal area, lovely hosts, great breakfast, very welcoming. It is probably the best b&b we've stayed in.Norham is also a lovely place to have a walk around. The castle is especially impressive.

Extremely clean room and comfortable beds (although if I was being picky I would have preferred a double bed).Couldn't fault the breakfast, bacon was perfect.Great location for exploring the borders.
