What an absolute gem of a pub, went there to watch the England game after ringing a few days earlier to see if they were showing it. Phone enquiry was very friendly and the welcome on the day was even better, a local pub full of local people and even though we we were outsiders" from the hotel up the road we were treated as locals by everyone. Just had excellent Sunday roast with all the trimmings.This is real home cooking. Had pork, moist and full of flavour, followed with pud and custard. The pub is a happy place to be in, with log burner. Good old fashion pub.

The Drillmans Arms, was very welcoming friendly served good ales, which is a debating point as we all have different options as to what makes a good pint.Surprised to find a fair bit of space and distance between tables. This is not my regular public house, but if I lived in the area it could well be.Nice place to spend a few hours if you don't live in the area.Keith Lane

Very friendly staff, with great facilities. The pool table is a good touch. Price is very good. Would definitely recommend!

Nice old pub on the way to Cirencester on the Gloucester Road at Stratton. Nice drive there. Not alot of parking but places around to park. Plenty of seating inside and couple of tables outside. They do show sport. Only had drinks which was reasonably priced. Would go again
