Good service, pleasant staff (David). The only annoying thing is the basis for you initial valuation. My car had 15k miles on it. Surely you should assume it has one or two small stone chips and a small scrape on one wheel! Knocking off 300 for normal wear and tear us daft. Nearly put me off. If the initial valuation assumed this normal situation, I would have given you a 10!

Quoted £250 online, when I arrived offered £50. If I knew that would happen, i wouldn't have wasted my time going down there. They should ask a lot more details about the car online then follow up with a phone call for further confirmation so people dont have to go out of there way to have there time wasted. Sold my car privately for £250. Should have just done that in the first place. Wont use again

Got an ok quote for my car on the website. On arrival at the branch, the rep was friendly and polite to begin with, he inspected the car quickly but then gave me a quote significantly lower than online. I asked why it was lower, he said online I had entered it as “Grade 1” condition but he scored it “Grade 2”, I asked him what was wrong with the car and why isn’t it “Grade 1”, he said nothing is wrong with the car but it’s not brand new so he wouldn’t give that price. To me this just confirmed they were never going to pay me what they quoted online - why waste my time?! He then muttered something about knowing I “wasn’t going to sell my car anyway this evening” and “could have given a better price” if he thought I was going to sell it to them…which I found rather rude. The next day, I got a much higher quote with a similar company, and upon inspection they honoured it - should’ve just used them in the first place.

Well what can I say! Total incompetance sums it up, also they admitted it too.They purchased our vehicle few months ago and still not completed. Have finance on vehicle and they sold it with us knowing!! Until I checked on dvla. Thought it would be an easy process but no! You can't even phone to talk to manager or someone to get things sorted.. all correspondence through emails and takes a good week or 2 to get replies back. We are now being told to make payments for the time they have had the vehicle to clear finance so they can get clearance agreement. If it wasn't for their mistakes we wouldn't be in this mess now!! Totally wouldn't recommend..

A very easy site to use which gave me a really good price for my vehicle.I turned up for my vehicle inspection which was was a simple & friendly service & I was offered a very good price not far off the original quote before the inspection.I found it a no fuss, safe & simple way to sell my vehicle & would thoroughly recommend this company to my family & friends.I paid an extra £25 plus VAT to have the payment payed into my account the next day & with in 24 hrs it was.Thumbs up all round!

We was a bit unsure to start with. Thought we would just see what they offer us. We had a lovely man called Joe who dealt with us, he was amazing, friendly and got us a good deal. Highly recommend Joe. Easy, fast stress free process.

Positives=Friendly staff. Gentleman who looked after me was great. Quick process.Negatives=On-line quotation and actual price offered are significantly different. If you wish to have your money the same day, you will also pay a premium for that.

Sold one of our company cars - I was knocked down from the original offer, but I feel the price paid was fair. The process was very simple. As I wasn't expecting a fair price after a previous experience many years ago at another branch, I am therefore happy to share my experience and recommend Salisbury.
