We commissioned Jack to build a moongate in stone after our old oak one was beyond repair. We get loads of comments from visitors. If you want to visit The Explorers Garden in Pitlochry you will get to see the wonderful new moongate. Jack works close with you to help you get the best possible outcome. Jack also did some remedial works to some of our stonewalls. He can put his hands to all things with stone.

We asked Jack to undertake work in replacing crumbling and missing pointing work. Very pleased with the work that Jack and his team did for us. The house looks amazing and the pointing work is excellent. A number of additional parts were undertaken including repairing of large stonework and matching to what was already in place.Jack was on time, gave regular updates on progress and really did listen to what we wanted.I highly recommend Jack.

Jack did a brilliant job of repairing a very old stone wall that had had a fight with a car and lost.Result was amazing. Very competitive rates, did everything he said he would do and did it exactly when he said he would. Cleaned up well, charmed the neighbours and kept the disruption to them at a minimum. And he brought his best pal, Apache the dog to supervise.

Jack did a fantastic job at repointing an exposed stone wall with lime mortar in our cottage. He also used some of our spare stones to build new legs on the side of our fireplace chamber, which looks amazing. He was really responsive and reliable, and great at communication. Excellent price too! We've already asked him back for another job and will definitely be calling him for any future stonemasonry work.
