Glencoe Mountain Resort

Stayed in a motorhome for one night made to feel very welcome. Used the cafe and showers which were £1 for 10 minuets.Although the showers were clean they were not really clean but nice hot water.

Really enjoyed the stay in micro lodge+, the resort is surrounded with heavenly views. Breakfast from the cafe was nice and tasty. Staffs were very friendly and welcoming. Chairlift rides were very adventurous and thrilling.

We've been multiple times, having previously experienced the chairlift, cafes and sledging. This time we had an overnight and done a bit of tubing. Staff are exceptional particularly Peter who is very friendly and engaging. Thanks for the whisky recommendation it was delicious. Check in very easy with assistance from Ash. Accommodation is basic as expected. Has several power points, a heater and there were a few sleeping bags incase we had forgotten ours which was a nice touch. Showers available onsite at £1 per 5 minutes. Toilets were clean.

This place has gone really downhill...I've stayed here 7 times over the years, and last month it was at its worse despite having a new cafe. Yes, there are midges, but that can't be helped. The state of the facilities was disgusting- most of the toilets and showers were out of order, there was no soap in the dispensers and it was filthy. Really too bad as it used to be quite a comfortable place to stay on the WHW.

Spend a night there while I was walking the West Highland Way.The camping spot is not to far from the WHW path. The camping place was quite small but had a great view.No kitchen at your disposition (not even a kettle). If you need to charge your phone you have to use the electrical outlet inside the restaurant (and it close quite early).

If you want the full Scottish experience of views and exploration, this is perfect. The staff on the chairlift were so helpful and patient with my boys. Only downside is showers and wash facilities are GRIM. Luckily, I only stopped one night so we could manage without.

Just as a warning:As other reviews suggest, the sanitary facilities are a mess!!! They do not get cleaned daily. According to the cleaning schedule, the toilets had been cleaned the day we arrived. Honestly, it looked like they have not been cleaned thoroughly in weeks!!There are only 2 toilets for the whole resort?! It is absolutely unacceptable that showers are not included in the price of 90£ a night!The microlodge we stayed in was okay. It is small but there is a little radiator to keep you warm. When we arrived, the whole lodge smelled of disinfectant so I guess it was cleaned. The mattresses are not that comfy and pretty narrow.Honourable mention: The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Food was good as well.

The Glencoe Mountain Resort was breathtaking and absolutely recommend the chairlift and the tubing. My 6 year old niece came for the first time and James was very accommodating and ensured she had a wonderful time. Definitely will come again and recommend it.
