Took a friend and their kids during the summer holidays. It doesn't look like much from the outside but we enjoyed it. It's surprisingly good. Charming little place run by an enthusiast.

It was good fair, small because it looked like it used to be a normal 2 storey house so you could stretch the visit our to an hour at a push, but the kids enjoyed it and they had to find the hidden stamps which if you find them all you get a free future admission(this is not a free entry museum as I was wrongly informed)

This was great, its only a small place but don't let that put you off, I think the children have had more fun here than any huge museum. Was there for over 2 hours, well worth it. Parking is on nearly roads, found with a five min walk.

Lovely little museum with plenty of hands on activities for kids. Set on 2 floors with a little inexpensive gift shop. Worth the entrance fee of Adults £3 children £1.50.

A great little gem of a place, our 2.5 year old loved running around making friends with the dinosaurs and collecting the stamps. Having so many buttons to press was deffinately a hit.Great value for money also.

I've given Dinostar 5 stars mainly because for the size of the place it has plenty of things to read and see and interact with. Went with my wife and daughter and we loved it. Very reasonably priced aswell. Friendly greeting at an enjoyable place which is full of history regarding dinosaurs. Recommend fully

Well worth the visit, not as big as expected but plenty to do, a number of interactive things, lots of information, and very friendly staff.

Not the slickest of Natural History museums but certainly scores very high on the interactive aspect. It’s evident that the proprietors are earnest in the scientific aspects of palaeontology with exhibits dedicated to the feathers we now believe dinosaurs to have had, the K-T boundary, etc.Plenty of craft material abounds and everything is accessible save for a narrow staircase not suited to those with mobility issues. There are loads of auditory, tactile and even olfactory stimuli. For the price, you’ll marvel at how the hours disappeared.Kudos must go out to the team at Creative Briefs!

My 6 year old absolutely loves it here. It's such a bargain, especially when you consider you get a free child's admission for next time when you complete the stamp sheet (there are 7 different dino stamps to find while you're walking around, which my son loves stamping on the sheet!) The staff are always really friendly and there's plenty of interactive stuff to do.
