Chapel Park Road Dental Practice

I am delighted with the work on my teeth . The dentist was absolutely caring , interested in my opinions and discussed in detail every procedure . I wish that I had discovered this dentist years ago . The staff take an interest in you , show respect . The clinic is spotless and welcoming .

This dentist has changed hands and he totally money orientated. My first visit was talking about all the cosmetic work I could have to enhance my smile. I next check up, I had a filling he didn't look at my other teeth or gums. I had to descale my own teeth. Never did a tooth count with nurse. We are looking for a new dentist.

So, I was told that if I sign up to the £15 per month direct debit not only would I get reduced treatment but if i suffered some sort of tooth related emergency that they would open the surgery for me. Roll on two years of paying the 15 a month and I have an emergency so I call them up and can I get hold of anyone?! No. Seems I'll be contacting my solicitor to get my two years subscriptions repaid!!Do not use this dental practice as they are full of s+×t.

I’ve always been terrified of the dentist, had extremely sensitive teeth and also had bad teeth, not too much in appearance but in the gums and had practically all my back teeth out by the time I joined Chapel Park.Without a doubt, the BEST dentists I’ve ever had! Right from the get go they knew I was a very nervous patient (I’ve had the pleasure of being treated by both dentists) and they were super delicate with me at every stage. They always said what they were going to do before they did it so I knew what was happening (EG ‘I’m just going to have a look’ ‘I’m going to start numbing now’), the dentist that ended up removing my teeth was even apologetic when he was numbing me! I couldn’t help but make a pained sound when having an injection in the roof of my mouth and he said things like ‘I know it hurts, I’m really sorry, it’s nearly done’Also, in the past 2 weeks I’ve had approximately 20 injections and they didn’t hurt half as much as when I’ve had injections before - I don’t know how he made injections to my gums and roof of my mouth as painless as I’ve ever experienced before but he did and I am beyond grateful.I have never been to a dentist with bedside manner as good as these guys. I am so grateful for them and for the dental journey I am on with this practice. Highly recommended and without a doubt the best dental practice in town.I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

I've only ever had positive experiences at this surgery. The dentists I have seen have been very kind and professional, and the rest of the staff are friendly and welcoming. I'm so glad I found them.

Just been to see Dr Bashir for a check up. Bit of a mix up, appnt had been cancelled,but I hadn't been told.Honestly the Receptionist, dental nurse and Dr Bashir, sorted it and saw me anyway. Really calm relaxed atmosphere, them not me! And such kindness. Thank you. Deborah Burgess

All staff are very nice and competent. I broke 2 teeth had 1 route canal 2 crowns and fillings replaced with white ones. Ended up needing about 6 separate appointments. On all these appointments every single person was professional and exceptional. Both dentists were awesome. I have since recommended friends and family

I hate Dentists, I’ve had bad experiences my whole life and felt like this would never change. Dr Hassan Malik was professional and made me feel more relaxed than any other dentist before. He also worked really fast which meant I was stressed for less time. I still don’t like going to the dentist but I won’t be avoiding it in future because of my experiences here. No question, 5 stars

I had a booking for a dental hygienist on a Friday but unfortunately I had tested positive for covid on Thursday night and was ill. I called on Friday to inform them that I cannot make my appointment due to my illness but they still charged me as missed appointment. The receptionist even suggested to me to come on my appointment day even I was positive for covid! Working in NHS, I find this totally ridiculous, unreasonable and insensitive. They seem more inclined to money-making. Not worth arguing your case to them, they don’t listen.

I can’t rate this surgery highly enough - my own dentist, Dr Bashir, was welcoming, friendly, non judgemental and put me entirely at ease. He is a testament to the profession and the best dentist I have ever seen. Dentists generally do seem to not be the most popular due to the nature of the work but I must say that I now look forward to my visits and he carried out the dental work I needed with care and professionalism while ensuring I was comfortable the entire time. I am undergoing root canal treatment and it was painless and thorough. As I said, cannot rate Dr Bashir highly enough. He is wonderful.
