Goosehill Boarding Cattery

Kaladin and Sabre have just spent another 2 weeks at Goosehill Cattery and have come home chilled out and relaxed. It's clear they have been well cared for and were both happy and content when we went to collect them. Would definitely recommend Goosehill, our cats have had several stays with them and always come back happy. The surroundings are peaceful and they have lots of birds to watch whilst listening to calming music. it's easy to book them in online, especially when it's a repeat visit, payment is also easy (and online) and drop off and pick up smooth with appointment times for each.

Excellent. Ian and Julie go above and beyond to make sure your cats feel at home.Not having a car, the collection service was a lifesaver. I spent more time than I’d like to admit watching the CatCam, too.This will be my first choice the next time I need to send my cats on holiday! Thank you, everyone at Goosehill

Julie and Ian could not have done any more to make Ozzys first stay in Goosehill any more successful. It was an unprecedented heatwave for June and the lovely fountains outside the spacious pens meant there was always somewhere cool for him to lay, or watch the birds coming down to drink & bathe.The cat camera was very much appreciated so we could check on him from time to time during our holiday.We noticed how incredibly clean the pens were kept and that there were no flies around the food or litter trays (which we were very pleased about)We would not hesitate to use Goosehill again and we are very grateful for the care & attention Ozzy received during his stay.Amanda & Nino June 2023

Great place, it was the first time my indoor cats have been anywhere but home and being able to check on them via the camera is amazing! We was really worried as admittedly we have treated them like babies and we thought they might completely hate being away from home. After initially being super shy I started to see them coming out being nosey, having a look around, jumping up and laying where they could see and hear more. They were able to stay together which was reassuring because they have never been away from each other. And they were so well cared for, I loved hearing the way they were spoken to because its exactly how we are with them at home, babying and fussing them ❤️ I did a lot of research before being comfortable to let them go and I wouldn't send them anywhere else now. And the collection/drop off service was a life saver for me !

Love this place. My son and DIL take their cats here. Always friendly, and the cats love it. They sulk when they get home because they don't have the sane attention and luxuries they do when boarding in here. Try them, you won't be disappointed.

First time using a cattery as we’d just moved to a new house and didn’t want to confuse our cat by sending her to a different family members house whilst away.Have to say this was the best choice we made! Kiki seemed very settled when we received an update, and the place itself was lovely and peaceful for her.Would definitely recommend

Wonderful place and Buster seemed really happy. We had to leave him due to house renovations and it was all very last minute. The owners were really accommodating and even allowed us to extend Busters stay. You can tell the owners really love cats and we knew from the day we dropped Buster off that he would be safe and looked after.

My furbaby Paisley spent 3 days with Ian and Julie at Goosehill Cattery. She had never been in a cattery before and I was as much nervous as I'm sure she was. When we arrived we were met with a warm and friendly greeting from Julie. She showed me to where Paisley would be staying. What I thought was a nice gesture and reassuring to both me and Paisley was that she allowed me to take her into the room she would be in and set it up with her blanket and ensure she was OK and settled before I left. I loved the fact that there was a radio also playing which was like home from home to me because I do that also if I have to go out. There was also a fountain with running water and a garden that she could see and it was so soothing and calm.On my way out she even introduced me to the other cats as we walked past and some where very happy to come say hello.My son picked Paisley up and she cried all the way home bless her, The feed back was that she had been shy for a couple of days and quiet spending timenin her carrier sue arrived in and not really wanting to eat l, but come third day she did start to graze on biscuits and Julie said she was becoming more engaging. I think had she have had a few more days there she would have really come out of her shell. I was really happy with the care and attention she was given whilst in Goosehill cattery and would definitely return in the future. Thank you from . Berni & Paisley x
